n/a | The head of the Xianzhou Luofu's Divination Commission and a confident, no-nonsense sage. Using her third eye and the Matrix of Prescience, Fu Xuan calculates the Xianzhou's navigational route and predicts the fortune of future events. She firmly believes that everything she does is the "best solution" for the situation. Fu Xuan is waiting for the general's promised "abdication." However, that day still seems... very far away. |
n/a | Even after the stretch of many years, Fu Xuan would always think of the day she got permission to enter "the library" and ask her question. "What are you thinking about?" The blind elder wearing sunglasses awaited her response in silence, tilting his head and holding to his cane for support. "Do all those moments of choice hold predestined outcomes? Or is it that, if in that very instant, I could calculate with even greater precision, even by a fraction of a fraction, I could make the right choice and prevent them from leaving?" The girl's eyes were half-closed, and she spoke her question akin to an answer. "Across each and every moment, we stand at the center of a maze laid out by our own footprints." The old, blind man softly shifted his cane. "I cannot provide you with answers. I can only offer questions... and the perspective to see them. And whatever you have sought from me along the way, surely it is not an answer." "Then, grant me 'The Eye'. Regardless of whether fate has been predetermined from the start, as a diviner, I long to see with greater clarity." "As you wish. But the people of the Xianzhou are ageless in flesh. To accept my 'eye' means to bear timeless pain. Rather than a tool, it is more like an.... 'instrument of torture.'" "Aren't these the very words of the Wisdomwalker's creed? Knowledge exchanged with pain. I do not wish to make the same mistake in my future choices." ... In the stupor that followed the bestowal of her "eye," she witnessed a great many past happenings. She saw herself during childhood, sitting upright and diligent in her studies; her father tenderly brushing the point between her brows, proudly praising her intellect and wit; her elders revealing to her the Fu family's gloried history serving as the Xianzhou Yuque's stargazers. She saw the operations and rites conducted by diviners, divining the brilliant future for her where she would claim the throne of master diviner. "Is this my future?" "Isn't every morsel, every drop predestined? This is your destiny. The divination results have been submitted to Master Diviner Jingtian, and he has agreed to personally supervise your tutelage. This is an immense fortune you have been blessed with." All the past is layered in the mists of probability, shifting on the edges of consciousness between dreams and reality, and extending forward into futures uncountable. She strove to find the day she became a diviner in the vastness of all moments. |
n/a | On that day, Fu Xuan sought her master beneath the Cloudpeer Telescope of the Xianzhou Yuque, but found herself unable to believe that the man before her was the master diviner her elders had so reverently regarded. He wore a somewhat aged pilot's outfit and was unceremoniously seated on the ground, his attention dedicated entirely to the shifting of the interwoven light rays in the matrix. "Your humble student, Fu Xuan, comes bearing her respects, Master Diviner." Such were the words spoken by the girl after a period of hesitation. The man's gaze remained unwavering, as he simply raised a finger, beckoning her to look at the show. Fu Xuan noticed that his hand had, inexplicably, morphed into a wooden ingenium. "The Yuque's Echojade Fleet are currently laying out a defense at Thalassa in coordination with the Yaoqing's encirclement and eradication of abominations. You should have heard of this, yes? However, they are fated to lose this battle." "Huh? The Yaoqing is noted for its martial prowess and is rarely rivaled. According to intelligence, our forces outnumber and outmatch the borisin. How can victory be denied if an attack is commenced?" "Well asked. You don't seem like an apprentice that just accepts things." The man stood up and patted down his dust-coated sleeves. "A diviner knows fate without resigning to it. Treading through varied possibilities to find the best choice is indeed wise. But, sometimes, no matter how you choose, destiny will only grant you a single path forward. When the finalized divination presents you with only two outcomes, the bad and the worse, what will you choose?" "...Naturally, the choice should be the lesser of two evils. This is the first lesson of divination." "But what if it's humanly impossible to judge matters at hand?" The man turned. "This divination is gleaned from the newly arranged 'Deca-Light Reflection Barrier' matrix. There are two outcomes: To temporarily transfer the Heroncrest Fleet of the Xianzhou Yaoqing, or to draw from the manpower of the Ebonpearl Fleet of the Fanghu. Only one choice can be made. To use the Heroncrest Fleet means being able to press a strong offense for some time but losing any hope of victory thereafter. To use the Ebonpearl Fleet, we must endure the vast distances between us and the Fanghu and have the conflict drag on for six months. During this time, we must also withstand multiple counterattacks from the enemy, not to mention the losses that are certain to come. But should the defense hold until reinforcement arrives, then victory may well become possible." "They went with the first option, I presume?" "Correct. Divination can provide counsel and guidance, but only the general can make the final decision. He chose the path that would lead to the smallest loss. This didn't invalidate my divination, of course — defeat was the predetermined outcome." "The treatises on the art of war state that an advantage in numbers speaks favorably for initiating battle, and calling on the aid of Yaoqing's forces may not be the worst possible decision. Moreover, nothing is ever certain in this world. How can you be so sure, master diviner? How can you speak as if all have been predestined?" "Nothing is ever certain in this world?" The man sighed heavily. "I thought the same thing when the divination results appeared... I thought there must have been an error in the calculations. However, the results did not change after the re-analysis. I therefore resolved to head to the battlefield and seek evidence myself." "I had ventured deep into Thalassa the past few weeks, fought the abominations, and gained the trust of the local water dwellers. That was how I received a shocking piece of news: Within a month's time, a great tide known to the Thalassans as the 'Devil's Tide' — caused by the gravitational influence of their moon — will arrive." "None will be able to keep fighting the abominations in such abyssal conditions without the help from the Fanghu Vidyadhara's cloudhymn magi. This piece of intel does not exist on any guide, nor is it recorded in our army's data bank. Only that, in order to validate my results in a moment of superfluous effort, I gave my hand as the price." The man smiled bitterly and lifted his wooden hand in a wave. "Sometimes there is only ever one path in destiny. Everything is predetermined." "By the way, you don't need to address me as master diviner. You should call me 'Teacher' from today onward." |
n/a | She spent the happiest time in her life studying in the Yuque's Divination Commission. She learned about predestination versus free-will, about matrix calculations versus human choices... The girl recalled she was always arguing with her teacher on every issue regarding divination and fortune-telling. Those were not aggressive confrontations with sharp words, but heated discussions between peers. And yet, though the two agreed on many topics, there was one issue they could not come to a consensus — Nous had granted divine volumes outlining the matrix calculations to the Xianzhou centuries ago. The Xianzhou Yuque's Divination Commission had pored over them to interpret and manifest the wisdom within, ultimately constructing the best divination matrix in the entire Alliance. Thought this is a point of pride for Yuque's diviners, Fu Xuan felt it was nothing short of culling the future possibilities of the Xianzhou people within the narrow path set out by the matrix. When people believe that the predictions of the matrix will always come to pass, then "choice" became an empty concept only for show. The diviners have unwillingly become prisoners of the matrix. They head to work when the hour is fortuitous, and stay home when the hour is ominous. What they do, what they avoid doing — everything was in accordance with the divination results. "If the matrix tells me that I will die tomorrow, does that mean I should just hurry up and end myself? At that point, what is the difference between performing a divination and not performing one?" "The difference is that we know we walk on the ordained path set by the heavens. That is the supreme path sought by Grandmaster Xuan Yao, who initiated the Divination Commission system." "All the diviner has to do is to faithfully believe and obediently follow the guidance of the matrix, and make one choice after another in that way — even though those choices may be ludicrous, incomprehensible, or difficult. All such efforts will ultimately lead the Xianzhou to the great work that it has been seeking throughout its existence — that of eradicating the Plagues Author and rid the world of the agony of Abundance." The man's expression was as placid and calm as an enlightened disciple who had received divine revelation. He looked at Fu Xuan and continued, "just like how I chose to take you in as my student after knowing about your predetermined future." It wasn't for my talents? And it wasn't for my well-connected family? It was just to fulfill some prediction? This... this was absurd! Rage took over Fu Xuan, and she was at a loss for words. "Did I ever tell you that after I consulted the Deca-Light Reflection Barrier and interpreted the hexagram, I now firmly believe that my life will end in your hands? However, I still took you in as my student. I'm waiting for you to take over my position and become the Xianzhou Yuque's master diviner, because it has all been predetermined." Predetermined? His life will end in my hands? He was talking as if the Xianzhou was still in the Three Sufferings Era! As if she was a treacherous disciple who craved the seat of the master diviner so much, that she would even kill her teacher for it! Her teacher was a scoundrel! "And I... I will never let that prediction come to pass!" The girl admired everything about her master as a diviner — his intelligence, skills, and integrity. However, she could not accept how he willingly sank into the blinding abyss of fatalism and regarded it as an acceptable way of life, despite being a diviner who could peek into destiny. Therefore, Fu Xuan ran away from the Xianzhou Yuque despite her family's dissuasion and the hurdles she had to cross. She ran away like a self-exiled escapee, plunging into the Luofu's Divination Commission with its more unrestricted culture and devoted herself to calculations. Not only did she want to part from the Xianzhou Yuque, she also wanted to prove with her own hands that her teacher's prediction was nothing but his own ludicrous delusions. |
n/a | Centuries passed thus, and the flames of war descended again. Diviner Fu Xuan calculated ceaselessly at her job. The grand armies of the Denizens of Abundance formed for the third time and launched a surprise attack on the Xianzhou Fanghu. The Yuque and the Luofu were close to the Fanghu, and it was their duty to give assistance. The divination revealed that all Xianzhou armies will meet a devastating defeat if they choose to face the assault head-on — however, should they keep up a defense, then there will be a chance to change the tides of battle. What a pity that the hexagram did not reveal how this chance will come about! Fu Xuan calculated and divined over and over again, yet the results given by the Matrix of Prescience never changed. "No one will choose defeat." This was the limit of a diviner's capacities. Fu Xuan outlined the pros and cons in writing and submitted the divination results to the Seat of Divine Foresight. However, as she expected, the outcome of the meeting between the Arbiter-Generals concluded that they must not take on a defensive position, not when such overwhelming numbers of the Abundance Axis were assaulting the Fanghu. The Cloud Knights of the Luofu and the Yuque must rise to face the enemy, buying time before the Yaoqing's army can arrive. On that day, Fu Xuan bore witness through the Projection Sandpit to the Alliance's army being decimated. Not only did the borisin bring fleets and mechabeasts numerous enough to block out the sky, they even summoned the incarnosphere Ketu Mirage from ancient legends. This evil gravitated toward the Fanghu, hellbent on bringing annihilation to all lives onboard, recreating the tragedy of the fall of the Xianzhou Cangcheng. And the only thing people could do was watch as it neared. Was this truly the limit of a diviner's capacities!? A bold idea surfaced in Fu Xuan's mind as she drowned in anxiety and anger. "I must see General Jing Yuan!" The girl spoke her thoughts when brought face-to-face with the general. It was no longer possible to obtain victory with the forces available to the Cloud Knights. The only chance of victory lies in making the Reignbow manifest themselves. She was not expecting the tired-looking man before her to simply nod after hearing her absurd and borderline blasphemous idea. The general did not even show any hints of ridicule. "How would you want to do it?" "The Xianzhou Yuque holds the Cloudpeer Telescope, the ultimate astronomical observation device in the Alliance. Not only can it scry into the distance, it can also be used to send out information... I plan to ship the Cloudpeer Telescope to the Fanghu using a Navis Astriger, and send out an SOS signal to the last observed location of the Reignbow's Lux Arrow. If we hurry, we still have a chance to turn everything around before that living planet falls." "I trust that you are... well aware of the singular sign of the Reignbow's descent onto the physical plane and its consequences, correct?" "Yes. As the person who voiced this plan, I am willing to be on the front lines and execute it." The girl's expression was solemn. She was keenly aware of how unorthodox her idea was. "I thank you for your words, but the Six Charioteers should work together to combat such a great crisis. Moreover, you do not have the permission to manipulate that device. Should this plan go awry, I will take all responsibility as the one who made the suggestion. Do not trouble yourself over this, Miss Fu." As Fu Xuan watched the general's retreating figure, she suddenly realized what he meant by "the Six Charioteers should work together" — the only person who has the permission to use the Cloudpeer Telescope and can send out a signal in the format of the Reignbow's decree... ...was none other than the Yuque's Master Diviner. ... "Is this why you seek "The Eye"? I saw your dreams..." The girl did not open her eyes, yet she could already see the world around her condense into solid form from nebulous mist, see all possibilities fade and leave behind the solitary, absolute, and faultless "choice." "Those are not dreams. They are my past. They made me who I am." "And he was right all this time. There is only ever one path in destiny." |

What’s the point in the CRIT RATE traces?
Ask Gepard, what’s the point of him having Ice Damage traces. but that doesn’t stop these preservation units from running more offensive build, no?
So, beta testers have already made videos confirming that E0 Fu with Herta LC (on S1) can solo-sustain even in a team with Jungliu, which is continuously absorbing the HP of the team, and here the doompost continues that Fu is not capable of solo-sustain and “worse than Gepard”.
Honey Hunter never changes, nor does the intelligence of his doomposters.
Most of those doom posts were before the buffs, not really seen any since then but if they do exist they are just being silly.
If her Skill increases the team’s HP, I wonder if re-applying it again while active will still heal for the HP or not (very important difference)
If it heals for that amount while the barrier is already on everyone, she can solo sustain no problem (basically a Natasha Ult on every Skill)
If it doesn’t do anything when triggered while the barrier is up, it’s pretty bad, the 5% healing each Ult probably isn’t enough
I highly doubt max hp increase heals you. most certainly you will get some hp yes, but you will lose it when the buff expires and when you renew the buff it just stays the same but 5% is enough tho. get as much hp as possible with outgoing healing set and main stat what is 44.5% outgoing healing and you shouldn’t be able to die anymore.
Her skill increases party max hp, it’s not a restore. The ult is the only raw heal in her kit and it’s plenty. This should be a 550+ heal where allies are only taking about 20% (100-65%redirect-18%mitigation) of the damage they normally would. If FX doesn’t die, this means ~2750 effective hp heal on each ally every 3 turns. FX isn’t meant to keep allies at full hp, but rather bleed out over time (hence why her LC has a per wave restore). A 3.5k hp ally has 17.5k effective hp to lose over the course of the battle + 2.75k effective hp each FX ult. The weaknesses of FX kit are her getting one shot from a raid wide or allies running out of hp. Both of these can be remedied by more hp and more outgoing healing bonus. FX staying alive can be more directly remedied by def and damage reduction though FX personal sustain appears to be less of a concern.
From what I currently see, her gamestyle is:
– redirect 65% of all damage to her
– auto-heal to full when below 50% (can trigger again after each Ult)
So basically give everyone on your team except Fu Xuan a Fire MC skill, and Fu Xuan is just unkillable unless she gets nuked.
The only issue I imagine would be blocking the first effect, then gets hit by freeze or imprisoned below 50% and doesn’t heal.
happens all the time to my Natasha’s autoheal and it’s frustrating
Also not sure if she can solo support. her healing is nice, but it’s 5% + 133, so half a Natasha heal every 2-3 turns when using her Skill constantly.
I’d guess 2pc Wuthering Snow + (some other 2 pc for DEF / HP / Outgoing Healing)
Outgoing Healing + HP% (+ maybe Energy Recharge?)
So she could be considered a DPS check for enemies (can either burst her down or poke the whole team to death fast enough)
Unless you decide to run a healer to be safe, but then she’s worse than Guepard…
man she got 18 % dmg reduction on entire team + 65 % dmg redirection to her. Even if she heal 5 % +133 to team its overkill by far lmao
But she’s efficient enough to solo MoC just like blade even, if so worried over someone can’t survive just remove them from the team
She heals 80% of lost hp, not to full.
Less it heavy AoE + DoT like MoX 6 first half, she is great enough to solo sustain rest of the content.
I soon start farming her relics since I’m almost done with the rest of her and I plan going for her signature weapon too so now I’m desprate. what do you guys think is more important? -> more sustainability for fu xuan or more sustainability for the group?
I don’t know if I should go 2p 12% hp/ 2p 10% outgoing healing
or 4p wuthering snow
some thoughts: I don’t think that fu xuan’s destribute covers the 8% dmg reduction because the group members getting damaged and then the dmg gets 100% destibuted to her and the group members don’t have 8% dmg reduction only she does but otherwise the direct dmg she personally recives gets lowerd from 82% to 74% what is a reduction of around 10% not 8%.
Even in the worst case scenario, she can’t proc the heal from the 4Pc Wuthering since her talent instantly proc when she gets below 50%, so, in theory, never begin a turn with less than 50% HP, thus, nerver proc’ing the 4pc set bonus.
For outgoing healing, the calculation with a OH body increase her heal (8.2k hp) to 730 from 550, so 10% should be around the 600 mark, better go with 12%Hp/6%speed.
Forgot to add, that the 65% damage she redirect are affected by her, and only her, defense stats, so it follow the same mitigation calculation as direct damage which is incredible for her survivability.
can I ask you how do you know this? so she mitigates the redirected dmg with her def, skill and 2p ws set? sounds like 2p wuthering snow/ 2p outgoing healing is BiS if this all is true. 12% hp gives around 300 hp what is around 20 hp more healing. 10% outgoing healing gives around 55 hp more healing (both with +34,5% outgoing healing). for 6 spd I don’t know if I want to go for it for me it’s the second most important stat after hp for substats followed by def but 120 should be enough to trigger su set. 134 spd is hard to achieve and would probably need spd shoes anyways but surviving the first turn shouldn’t be an impossible task.
why is this comment here? I’m so confused it always ends up under someone else but not as it’s own comment. what do I do wrong?
Preservation that can buff okay it sounds cool but where is the shield? what happens with harmony? , mihoyo rarely stick to their own design.
Preservation does not mean they have to shield. It is the tank class. She tanks damage for your team, that’s her main responsibility. Her buffing is the same as Luocha buffing. 5* event characters get more.
Yes but look closely she buff, what i meant is that in simulation u need shield for preservation path, it means it is the “supposed” way of preservation.
no, the paths themselves aren’t complete representations, they just generally fit with the actual character paths because it somewhat synergizes with certain characters
destruction is based off losing hp to gain buffs, yet basic MC and dan IL have nothing to do with hp, and since blade mostly scales off hp, his self hp drain hardly benefits from destruction path and works best with abundance
nihility is based off DoT despite the actual path specializing many forms of debuffs,
the abundance path works around the HP stat, but then theres luocha, who scales off attack
you guys really have never read a path description they defined since 1,000 Amber Era ago
Destruction – Deals outstanding amounts of damage and possesses great survivability. Suitable for various combat scenarios
The Hunt – Deals extraordinary amounts of single-target damage. The main damage dealer against Elite Enemies
Erudition – Deals remarkable amounts of multi-target damage. The main damage dealer against groups of enemies
Harmony – Applies buffs to allies to improve the team’s combat capacities
Nihility – Applies debuffs to enemies to reduce their combat capacities
Preservation – Possesses powerful defensive abilities to protect allies in various ways
Abundance – Heals allies and restores HP to the team
Destruction – Deals outstanding amounts of damage and possesses great survivability. Suitable for various combat scenarios
– possesses great survivability **turns around and looks at DHIL** !
welp, he is an exceptional
survived or be destroyed, there is no other choice.
Would Fu xuan and Inhibitor lunae be a good pair? I want to pull her but idk if they would be good together
She will be great in every team that doesn’t already have a tank (Clara, Blade, Gepard) and absolutely broken for higher levels of swarm disaster.
Would fire trailblazer fall into the category of tank?
He kinda does, but not really. He is too SP dependant, can’t reliably protect the team against massive aoe damage and needs a healer as well, while not dealing that much damage in turn.
Fu Xuan could single sustain (remains to be seen), is SP positive and makes sure that her teammates will not die from stray single target attacks or massive aoe dmg, a problem that many teams with traditional healers face. And she is a buffer to boot!
Gepard probably kinda the same, but I don’t have him and haven’t put that much thought into him.
Clara and Blade are a bit special here. They don’t protect their team against aoe attacks and also need healers, but in turn deal substential damage and pull single target attacks to them, even if not 100% reliable. But you still need them unless you want to gamble on the enemy not focusing one of your squishy units down.
okay then, so i’m pulling for fu xuan, ty for this <33
What I’m curious about is which triggers first? Effect Resist % or Fu Xuan’s CC shield? If the game prioritizes Effect Resist first then that increases the value of the CC shield so that the next character to get CC’d can use her proc. Do we already know the priority of such mechanics or anything similar? Or has it been “showcased” already?
This is something I want to know for sure too. I asked in two discord channels, one off them said they are two different checks so effect resist% does matter, but the other sait it turns on and off a variable that makes you immune to debuffs. I’m not sure which one is true but this is different than Lynx and Yukong’s debuff resist, it’s exclusively CC. I would guess they made it in a way that does take effect resist% into consideration, because it’s the best scenario and we had similar concerns with Silver Wolf on her mechanics as well. In the end SW’s mechanics turned out to be the best interperatations too and I think they wouldn’t drop the ball with Fu Xuan.
This is a really good question.
I think it does roll the RNG for effect res so if you resist, you aren’t CC’ed, thus, not counting toward the CC immunity, and so on.
But, don’t quote me on that, this need actual testing to be really sure.
As a low-spender that has Dan IL and SW, and my current main sustains are Gepard and Luocha, should I pull for her? Assuming that I like her design but slightly like Jingliu’s design more.
I don’t think you should, since you already have 2 great sustain units. You can just wait till the end of her banner to decide and gather as much Stellar jades while you’re at it. I am personally pulling for her just because I do not have Geppard, Bailu, or Luocha and I don’t like trying too hard on MOC so I am waiting for another sustain character and maybe I can finally finish MOC without much effort.
In some cases she’s better than Gepard. Especially for faster DPS like Seele. Like because Gepard is so slow, Seele can literally out turn his shields before he’s even close to getting another one up. However this isn’t a problem for FX because her absorption is linked to her turns and not other characters. As such FX is going out perform Gepard is most situations. After getting Fu, you’re probably good for sustain for like another year when more content starts coming out that requires more than a single sustain unit.
How strong she is? I’m low spender and I need heal for second team because Natasha can’t handle it. Is she good as buffer?
If Natasha is your problem then she is definitely your answer for best survivability at E0.
Not so such as a good buffer/sub-DPS though if you can’t get her E1 and lightcone.
Fu Xuan can sustain your team and buff their crit rate, so paired with nat she’s def good to pick up
e0 shes a good buffer,.e1 shes a really good buffer with the extra crit damage buff. e1+LC makes her even better since she can tank more, use her ulti more and even deal more damage too.
She actually has a lot of crit rate. 18.7% from traces + 12% from skill + 5% base. With 4pc Longevous Disciple and Broken Keel she is already at 52/60 without any crit substats. Seems like mihoyo want’s her to be a bit offensive, may be Quantum orb is the way to go with Signature light cone.
The way they nerfed her ult dmg and combined with the fact that she has no multipliers in der traces or LC, I doubt that she will be able to deal reasonable dmg. You are better off building her full single sustain and leave the dmg to your other party members.
her crit trace are just gimmick
thing it about this way her source dmg are coming from ultimate that means cannot be pull out every turn
and her passive doesnt have any increase for the dmg
even with 100% crit chance i doubt she gonna deal decent dmg
rather than crit gimmick i prefer that she have another defences trace
since she more risky than gepard
but oh well still gonna pulling her tho since her mechanic give more uptime dmg reduction rather than gepard on selee ( selee take turn too fast )
and ofc gonna slap this littel girl with full survival stat
Damage isn’t bad at E1, only if you go full offensive, that’s why, it’s not really recommended building her that way, but, if, like me, you want her as a tanky sub dps, here’s a calc of her theoretical damage on quantum weak foes with Quantum% CD% 2xHp% 4xGenius 2xSalsotto using my collection of relics.
https://ibb.co/S3HS72W
Numbers doesn’t look very exiting indeed considering the build, but i still feel like it should be reasonable way to go with mono quantum. I mean with Lynx in the group i doubt she will ever die using any build.
where can i find this calculator?
It got DMCA’d, so no more calculator for leaked characters, but you can have the normal one here :
