TitleText
n/aThe head of the Xianzhou Luofu's Divination Commission and a confident, no-nonsense sage.
Using her third eye and the Matrix of Prescience, Fu Xuan calculates the Xianzhou's navigational route and predicts the fortune of future events. She firmly believes that everything she does is the "best solution" for the situation.
Fu Xuan is waiting for the general's promised "abdication." However, that day still seems... very far away.
n/aEven after the stretch of many years, Fu Xuan would always think of the day she got permission to enter "the library" and ask her question.

"What are you thinking about?" The blind elder wearing sunglasses awaited her response in silence, tilting his head and holding to his cane for support.

"Do all those moments of choice hold predestined outcomes? Or is it that, if in that very instant, I could calculate with even greater precision, even by a fraction of a fraction, I could make the right choice and prevent them from leaving?" The girl's eyes were half-closed, and she spoke her question akin to an answer.

"Across each and every moment, we stand at the center of a maze laid out by our own footprints." The old, blind man softly shifted his cane. "I cannot provide you with answers. I can only offer questions... and the perspective to see them. And whatever you have sought from me along the way, surely it is not an answer."

"Then, grant me 'The Eye'. Regardless of whether fate has been predetermined from the start, as a diviner, I long to see with greater clarity."

"As you wish. But the people of the Xianzhou are ageless in flesh. To accept my 'eye' means to bear timeless pain. Rather than a tool, it is more like an.... 'instrument of torture.'"

"Aren't these the very words of the Wisdomwalker's creed? Knowledge exchanged with pain. I do not wish to make the same mistake in my future choices."

...

In the stupor that followed the bestowal of her "eye," she witnessed a great many past happenings.

She saw herself during childhood, sitting upright and diligent in her studies; her father tenderly brushing the point between her brows, proudly praising her intellect and wit; her elders revealing to her the Fu family's gloried history serving as the Xianzhou Yuque's stargazers. She saw the operations and rites conducted by diviners, divining the brilliant future for her where she would claim the throne of master diviner.

"Is this my future?"

"Isn't every morsel, every drop predestined? This is your destiny. The divination results have been submitted to Master Diviner Jingtian, and he has agreed to personally supervise your tutelage. This is an immense fortune you have been blessed with."

All the past is layered in the mists of probability, shifting on the edges of consciousness between dreams and reality, and extending forward into futures uncountable. She strove to find the day she became a diviner in the vastness of all moments.
n/aOn that day, Fu Xuan sought her master beneath the Cloudpeer Telescope of the Xianzhou Yuque, but found herself unable to believe that the man before her was the master diviner her elders had so reverently regarded. He wore a somewhat aged pilot's outfit and was unceremoniously seated on the ground, his attention dedicated entirely to the shifting of the interwoven light rays in the matrix.

"Your humble student, Fu Xuan, comes bearing her respects, Master Diviner." Such were the words spoken by the girl after a period of hesitation.

The man's gaze remained unwavering, as he simply raised a finger, beckoning her to look at the show. Fu Xuan noticed that his hand had, inexplicably, morphed into a wooden ingenium. "The Yuque's Echojade Fleet are currently laying out a defense at Thalassa in coordination with the Yaoqing's encirclement and eradication of abominations. You should have heard of this, yes? However, they are fated to lose this battle."

"Huh? The Yaoqing is noted for its martial prowess and is rarely rivaled. According to intelligence, our forces outnumber and outmatch the borisin. How can victory be denied if an attack is commenced?"

"Well asked. You don't seem like an apprentice that just accepts things." The man stood up and patted down his dust-coated sleeves. "A diviner knows fate without resigning to it. Treading through varied possibilities to find the best choice is indeed wise. But, sometimes, no matter how you choose, destiny will only grant you a single path forward. When the finalized divination presents you with only two outcomes, the bad and the worse, what will you choose?"

"...Naturally, the choice should be the lesser of two evils. This is the first lesson of divination."

"But what if it's humanly impossible to judge matters at hand?" The man turned.

"This divination is gleaned from the newly arranged 'Deca-Light Reflection Barrier' matrix. There are two outcomes: To temporarily transfer the Heroncrest Fleet of the Xianzhou Yaoqing, or to draw from the manpower of the Ebonpearl Fleet of the Fanghu. Only one choice can be made. To use the Heroncrest Fleet means being able to press a strong offense for some time but losing any hope of victory thereafter. To use the Ebonpearl Fleet, we must endure the vast distances between us and the Fanghu and have the conflict drag on for six months. During this time, we must also withstand multiple counterattacks from the enemy, not to mention the losses that are certain to come. But should the defense hold until reinforcement arrives, then victory may well become possible."

"They went with the first option, I presume?"

"Correct. Divination can provide counsel and guidance, but only the general can make the final decision. He chose the path that would lead to the smallest loss. This didn't invalidate my divination, of course — defeat was the predetermined outcome."

"The treatises on the art of war state that an advantage in numbers speaks favorably for initiating battle, and calling on the aid of Yaoqing's forces may not be the worst possible decision. Moreover, nothing is ever certain in this world. How can you be so sure, master diviner? How can you speak as if all have been predestined?"

"Nothing is ever certain in this world?" The man sighed heavily. "I thought the same thing when the divination results appeared... I thought there must have been an error in the calculations. However, the results did not change after the re-analysis. I therefore resolved to head to the battlefield and seek evidence myself."

"I had ventured deep into Thalassa the past few weeks, fought the abominations, and gained the trust of the local water dwellers. That was how I received a shocking piece of news: Within a month's time, a great tide known to the Thalassans as the 'Devil's Tide' — caused by the gravitational influence of their moon — will arrive."

"None will be able to keep fighting the abominations in such abyssal conditions without the help from the Fanghu Vidyadhara's cloudhymn magi. This piece of intel does not exist on any guide, nor is it recorded in our army's data bank. Only that, in order to validate my results in a moment of superfluous effort, I gave my hand as the price."

The man smiled bitterly and lifted his wooden hand in a wave. "Sometimes there is only ever one path in destiny. Everything is predetermined."

"By the way, you don't need to address me as master diviner. You should call me 'Teacher' from today onward."
n/aShe spent the happiest time in her life studying in the Yuque's Divination Commission. She learned about predestination versus free-will, about matrix calculations versus human choices... The girl recalled she was always arguing with her teacher on every issue regarding divination and fortune-telling. Those were not aggressive confrontations with sharp words, but heated discussions between peers. And yet, though the two agreed on many topics, there was one issue they could not come to a consensus —

Nous had granted divine volumes outlining the matrix calculations to the Xianzhou centuries ago. The Xianzhou Yuque's Divination Commission had pored over them to interpret and manifest the wisdom within, ultimately constructing the best divination matrix in the entire Alliance. Thought this is a point of pride for Yuque's diviners, Fu Xuan felt it was nothing short of culling the future possibilities of the Xianzhou people within the narrow path set out by the matrix.

When people believe that the predictions of the matrix will always come to pass, then "choice" became an empty concept only for show. The diviners have unwillingly become prisoners of the matrix. They head to work when the hour is fortuitous, and stay home when the hour is ominous. What they do, what they avoid doing — everything was in accordance with the divination results.

"If the matrix tells me that I will die tomorrow, does that mean I should just hurry up and end myself? At that point, what is the difference between performing a divination and not performing one?"

"The difference is that we know we walk on the ordained path set by the heavens. That is the supreme path sought by Grandmaster Xuan Yao, who initiated the Divination Commission system."

"All the diviner has to do is to faithfully believe and obediently follow the guidance of the matrix, and make one choice after another in that way — even though those choices may be ludicrous, incomprehensible, or difficult. All such efforts will ultimately lead the Xianzhou to the great work that it has been seeking throughout its existence — that of eradicating the Plagues Author and rid the world of the agony of Abundance." The man's expression was as placid and calm as an enlightened disciple who had received divine revelation. He looked at Fu Xuan and continued, "just like how I chose to take you in as my student after knowing about your predetermined future."

It wasn't for my talents? And it wasn't for my well-connected family? It was just to fulfill some prediction? This... this was absurd! Rage took over Fu Xuan, and she was at a loss for words.

"Did I ever tell you that after I consulted the Deca-Light Reflection Barrier and interpreted the hexagram, I now firmly believe that my life will end in your hands? However, I still took you in as my student. I'm waiting for you to take over my position and become the Xianzhou Yuque's master diviner, because it has all been predetermined."

Predetermined? His life will end in my hands?

He was talking as if the Xianzhou was still in the Three Sufferings Era! As if she was a treacherous disciple who craved the seat of the master diviner so much, that she would even kill her teacher for it! Her teacher was a scoundrel!

"And I... I will never let that prediction come to pass!"

The girl admired everything about her master as a diviner — his intelligence, skills, and integrity. However, she could not accept how he willingly sank into the blinding abyss of fatalism and regarded it as an acceptable way of life, despite being a diviner who could peek into destiny.

Therefore, Fu Xuan ran away from the Xianzhou Yuque despite her family's dissuasion and the hurdles she had to cross. She ran away like a self-exiled escapee, plunging into the Luofu's Divination Commission with its more unrestricted culture and devoted herself to calculations. Not only did she want to part from the Xianzhou Yuque, she also wanted to prove with her own hands that her teacher's prediction was nothing but his own ludicrous delusions.
n/aCenturies passed thus, and the flames of war descended again. Diviner Fu Xuan calculated ceaselessly at her job. The grand armies of the Denizens of Abundance formed for the third time and launched a surprise attack on the Xianzhou Fanghu. The Yuque and the Luofu were close to the Fanghu, and it was their duty to give assistance. The divination revealed that all Xianzhou armies will meet a devastating defeat if they choose to face the assault head-on — however, should they keep up a defense, then there will be a chance to change the tides of battle.

What a pity that the hexagram did not reveal how this chance will come about! Fu Xuan calculated and divined over and over again, yet the results given by the Matrix of Prescience never changed.

"No one will choose defeat." This was the limit of a diviner's capacities. Fu Xuan outlined the pros and cons in writing and submitted the divination results to the Seat of Divine Foresight. However, as she expected, the outcome of the meeting between the Arbiter-Generals concluded that they must not take on a defensive position, not when such overwhelming numbers of the Abundance Axis were assaulting the Fanghu. The Cloud Knights of the Luofu and the Yuque must rise to face the enemy, buying time before the Yaoqing's army can arrive.

On that day, Fu Xuan bore witness through the Projection Sandpit to the Alliance's army being decimated. Not only did the borisin bring fleets and mechabeasts numerous enough to block out the sky, they even summoned the incarnosphere Ketu Mirage from ancient legends. This evil gravitated toward the Fanghu, hellbent on bringing annihilation to all lives onboard, recreating the tragedy of the fall of the Xianzhou Cangcheng. And the only thing people could do was watch as it neared.

Was this truly the limit of a diviner's capacities!? A bold idea surfaced in Fu Xuan's mind as she drowned in anxiety and anger. "I must see General Jing Yuan!"

The girl spoke her thoughts when brought face-to-face with the general. It was no longer possible to obtain victory with the forces available to the Cloud Knights. The only chance of victory lies in making the Reignbow manifest themselves.

She was not expecting the tired-looking man before her to simply nod after hearing her absurd and borderline blasphemous idea. The general did not even show any hints of ridicule. "How would you want to do it?"

"The Xianzhou Yuque holds the Cloudpeer Telescope, the ultimate astronomical observation device in the Alliance. Not only can it scry into the distance, it can also be used to send out information... I plan to ship the Cloudpeer Telescope to the Fanghu using a Navis Astriger, and send out an SOS signal to the last observed location of the Reignbow's Lux Arrow. If we hurry, we still have a chance to turn everything around before that living planet falls."

"I trust that you are... well aware of the singular sign of the Reignbow's descent onto the physical plane and its consequences, correct?"

"Yes. As the person who voiced this plan, I am willing to be on the front lines and execute it." The girl's expression was solemn. She was keenly aware of how unorthodox her idea was.

"I thank you for your words, but the Six Charioteers should work together to combat such a great crisis. Moreover, you do not have the permission to manipulate that device. Should this plan go awry, I will take all responsibility as the one who made the suggestion. Do not trouble yourself over this, Miss Fu."

As Fu Xuan watched the general's retreating figure, she suddenly realized what he meant by "the Six Charioteers should work together" — the only person who has the permission to use the Cloudpeer Telescope and can send out a signal in the format of the Reignbow's decree...

...was none other than the Yuque's Master Diviner.

...

"Is this why you seek "The Eye"? I saw your dreams..."

The girl did not open her eyes, yet she could already see the world around her condense into solid form from nebulous mist, see all possibilities fade and leave behind the solitary, absolute, and faultless "choice."

"Those are not dreams. They are my past. They made me who I am."
"And he was right all this time. There is only ever one path in destiny."

  1. why don’t you include the ultimate cost of each character? you include the break value yet the value for the ultimate cost is nowhere to be seen.

    • strong buff here…
i guess they finally choose to put her bulk on top of everything
the little damage nerf doesnt mean that much since she don’t even need defense set pieces now + she have more HP too

  2. I’m really not so confident of her survival rate after big AoE attacks.

Looking at how much bosses can do with big AoE attacks which can be higher than 3k per character. If we take one of those attacks even if Fu is at 100% HP (Doubtful.) and even if you go Hp%4x on all relics and get to around 9k HP (Doubtful.) there is still a solid chance she just outright dies from a single big AoE attack.

Ok, lets say the boss uses the big attack and deals 3k to all 4 characters. Fu reduces all damage from the team by 12% at level 10 talent. Which means everyone takes 2640 damage. Fu now takes 70% of that damage 3x from all team mates which equals to 5544 total damage but then you have to add on her own unmitigated damage which is still 2640 which comes to a grant total of 8184. Which means that if you even have one off piece, maybe speed shoes, energy recharge rope. Fu can just outright die from a big AoE attack that deals 3k. This is really bad considering the strongest boss AoE currently is 4k. Which means if you take that, no matter how much HP your Fu has she’s just probably outright dead no matter what you do. Even her E2 can only save her from 1 of them.

With all this in mind, it’s got me wondering if she’s even going to be any good against the hardest enemies in the game. Like sure against enemies that don’t have big AoE hitting attacks they’ll be no problem with Fu, but honestly, who’s having issues with them right now anyway?

This isn’t even in mirror, i’m just talking open world here.

        • I’m pretty sure you can prevent that attack by killing the golden trees.
And even so you are ignoring the fact that you can just slot in damage reduction 2 piece or Light cone on Fu.
I am also not sure if the apportioned damage does’t get mitigated by Fu as well, as it would make sense since she’s the one taking damage in the end, no?

        • The average HP of most dps-dealer is 3k. According to your logic, even with Loucha, the whole team should just die against Ebon Deer from oneshoot.

Also, it’s still interesting how often do you meet your imaginary 4k Ebon Deer in the open world?
My Seele has only 3051 HP, but she survived the maximum ED hit in the MoC, strange right? The same goes for other players. You’re talking about some mythical boss in the open world hitting 4k, which only you have seen.

Your Seele already had a low % HP when she was hit, that’s why she died.

          • You were lucky that’s all, if he got the dual attack buff and full branches, yes, he, in fact, go as high as 4.5k, he’s right on that point.

But, in reality, you never let it happen or he launches his nuke with like 1 branch dealing like 2k max.

        • Ebon deer isn’t open world, and let’s not even talk about the one in SU, SU makes everything a joke, getting nuked there is a you problem.

The only real one that poses a threat is the MoC at lvl 85 or 90, and yes, if you let it happen, the nuke can go as far as 4k.

          • I let it happen to see how much it did, but my point by bringing this up is that future bosses won’t be so easy to avoid. Bringing in a tank is almost going to be mandatory. Gepard can help the team easily tank a 4k HP nuke./ But Fu won’t be able too, that’s all i’m trying to say.

People being mean with their names or whatever can grow up. I brought up a good point, just because you don’t like it doesn’t mean you have to insult me. Fu won’t help you tank that kinda damage, but other tanks can. As a result, is Fu actually that good of a tank? Gepard > Fu as of right now and it’s not even close.

          • Oh, I think I’ve heard this story before. If you go to the Loucha section, you will see doomposts there saying that Bailu > Loucha, because Loucha will build Atk, not HP, and die from oneshoot and that Bailu reduces incoming damage by 10%, so it is better for solo-sustain… strange, where did all these doomposts go after the release of Loucha?

P.S. This comment is not for you Shizko, but for Worried, who says “Gepard > Fu as of right now and it’s not even close”. Just HH does not allow to continue the overgrown branch of the dialogue.

          • I was a massive Loucha hype machine telling everyone how broken he’d be because i did the math, just like i am doing now. I was telling everyone how his passive healing would be as high as a skill from Bailu and that his solo sustain will be unmatched for a very long time.

This isn’t a doom post at all. i’ve been waiting for Fu all this time for my quantum mono build and was hyped by the leaks that were released ages ago. But i expected some kind of nuke stopper to stop the very thing i’m afraid of.

In the case of solo sustain arguments can be made for both Gepard and Fu but because Fu adds a little bit of healing with her she probably overall wins out despite the fact they still actually take damage where with Gepard they don’t. But as of tanking those huge hits, yes, Gepard is way ahead of Fu because Fu can’t do it while Gepard can and he can do it easily.

            Same as above.

          • @ Worried.
I’m late but this comment makes me kinda angry because it’s just wrong I think you are a loucha fanboy and I think you think he gets powercreeped but let me tell you this.. he cannot prevent chars for being oneshottet or buff other chars and I did the math too but for me the sustainability somehow works for fu xuan?! and that’s okay because loucha also does a bit of dmg, breaks shields better and has more cc. both work in a different ways and fu xuan > gepard by far. with gepard you even need a healer when you take too much dmg because noone heals when your shield breaks so how can he sustain a team when you get 4k nukes? fu xuan can reach hp values above 8k with her weapon and when you struggle to survive you can use wuthering snow so she gets instead of 82% direct dmg only 74% direct dmg (not distribed dmg) what is a dmg decrease of 10% + 8% healing and a bit energy apart from this when all party members get 4k you do sth wrong anyways and no char can prevent you from dying. not gepard, not loucha, not fu xuan.

    • She will definitely get some random defense plus base defense. It’s not really a game changer, but still…

      • I already answered this. The Ebon Deer can do around 4k damage on it’s ult if all Arbor Branches are on the field and this isn’t just about the current content but the future content that will become a lot harder. Big AoE boss attacks are only going to become stronger and more common. I guarantee by this point next year there will be a boss enemy that ults every turn and does just as much as the Ebon Deer can do. Sure you can completely stop the Ebon Deer from getting it’s AoE off or even weaken it before it goes off. But that won’t be the same for every future boss.

I really hoped Fu would have a trace that would stop one hit KO’s if she was above a certain amount of HP but sadly that’s not the case. (Before changes Luocha had a trace that stopped him from being KO’d if he was above 70% of HP. I had hoped it got removed from him because they were going to give it to Fu instead. But nope. :c)

And even assuming there is, most teams can’t really face 3k AoE comfortably, Gepard will just lose by battle of attrition and would wound up being the surviving unit.

Even so, if you are still worried, you could just slap more HP, use 4pc Wuthering snow or 2 of that plus 2pc Longevous, give her Texture LC from herta shop for shield and more damage reduction.

      • Gepards shield can go over 3k alone. So he’ll help your entire team tank a 3k HP nuke without taking a single bit of damage and if you manage him right he can have a shield up 24/7.

But yes, i will be doing everything apart from speed shoes to increase her HP/Tanking ability as well as having HP shoes in the back just in case. But still, i find it funny people in here talking about a max DPS Fu which will have like 4k HP and thinking she’ll survive just fine.

        • I’m building Fu Xuan as a DPS, and I don’t even know how you could end up with only 4k HP, Right now, I’m sitting at 8K Hp, 48.8 Quantum, 94Cr, 185CD (E1 included) Genius-Salsotto 1000 def (0.5 Multiplier for 1000 def)
Basic attack hits for 9k average while ultimate is sitting at 31k ST average (95k with E6).

Now let’s calculate the damage she should take in 4k AoE nuke from Ebon :

          70% redirection
          4000x3x0.7 = 8400

          Mitigation :
          (8400+4000)x(0.5×0.88) = 5456 damages (With the 8% set, that’s 5456×0.92 = 5019.52 = ~5020 Is it worth? Not really, she can’t even proc the secondary cure effect)

What her teammate take assuming 900 def, so 0.55 multiplier :
          (4000×0.3)x(0.55×0.88) = 580.8 = ~581 damages

Ebon can’t nuke every turn since he needs a full turn to re-summon everything again, and even then, branches takes 2 turn to actually go off.

          • The 4k damage it can do is after counting defences, not before. You’re pretty much counting defence twice. A 3k nuke (after defences.) would kill your Fu.

            70% redirection
            3000x3x0.7 = 6300

            (6300+3000)x(1×0.88) = 8184. Your 8k HP Fu dies instantly.

Allies take 792 damage so as long as they can finish off, it kinda works i guess but if they can’t you’re screwed.

          • Lvl 90 Ebon Deer has 663 Atk, double buffs from branches, that’s 40% atk, Deer is sitting at 663×1.4 = 928.4 Atk

            His ultimate has a 350% scaling and 25% additive per branch, that’s 450% scaling 928.4 x 450% = 4176.9 max theoretical damage per target.

So no, my calculation was right and it’s still before mitigation.

    • One big thing you’re overlooking is that you are comparing damage being received by a squishy low-def dps and assume that damage will be the number that Fu Xuan takes. The way it works is that the percentage that Fu receives at the end is mitigated by her own defense. A gepard wont get a 4k hit if a seele does. And Fu, although not building def primarily, wont either.
Will there be situations where she’s low on like 60% and then gets a big hit and could die? Probably, but to say that any AoE will endanger her is just ridiculous. Its more likely to just be a few unlucky turns where the big boss hits last after all the trash so her heal doesnt trigger.

Also i have yet to encounter a lv 80 dps getting oneshot without a shield while being at 80% hp, so i dont know what enemies you’re facing. Maybe youre using level 1 light cones? I never bring a shielder with me, just healers, and sure, Bailu has 10% dmg reduction, but my natasha doesnt

      • Shizko has backed me when it comes to the 4k hit from the Ebon Deer. But that is just a current example and an easy to avoid one.

Also are you sure Fu’s own defence and damage red effects the damage she’s taking from another char? Coz the way it sounds to me is that the damage calculation is done on the attacked char, and then 70% of that damage number transfers directly to Fu and her def and damage red does nothing to mitigate it. If i am wrong please show me the leak or at least quote it because i’ve not seen it.

          • Not leaked in the discord i’m in. But thank you for sharing. Nice to know the 8% damage red from the set effect will always apply. Now if only she can get a def buff. But that’s still only one thing, but the fact it will negate a whole 8% of the 8.1k i stated in the OP is a nice added effect.

          • To Worried
You got your wish, her base def was almost doubled and is now the 2nd highest in the game.
She was good enough before but now I’m seriously considering getting her for Blade (was originally just going to go for lynx)

  3. tried some calc

lvl 90 all relevant traces maxed.
    S1 LC + E1
    4pc Long Longevous + 2pc Inert Salsotto
    Mainstats: HP/ATK/CritDmG/HP% – Quantum/HP%
Substats: Somewhere around 20% hp, 9 crit rate, 18 critdmg. Others, trash.

I Got the ff stats after skill and relic effect activation:

    7,603 HP
    48% Quantum
    112% ER
69 Crit Rate, 158% crit dmg
bonus 15% Ultimate dmg from Inert Salsotto

also that new CC res makes Blade potential very broken against every Dot enemies since she no longer dispels Dots

Blade and Seele going to gain alot from her banner. her E alone buffs Blade damage by some 10% and his spare Skill points for more Ult dmg.

  5. Changes:
    – Energy generation has been reduced from 40 to 20, but instead the Matrix is now completed at the end, not at the beginning of the turn. Oddly enough, this is a buff – now Fu can use the rotation of EAAE and, as a result, maintaining Matrix 100% uptime while remaining SP positive.
    – Auto now has HP scales instead of Atk. Undoubtedly buff, but it’s strange that its scales are 2 times lower than Lynx.
    – Heal increased from 85% to 90%.
    – Debuff protection has been replaced with CC protection, which means that Crowd Control will no longer be accidentally spent on DoT protection from some minion.
    – E1 nerf from 30% CD to 25% CD.
    – E6 nerf from 300% to 200%

Fu Xuan is perfectly solo-sustain in MoC 10 with Herta LC, she doesn’t need sign lc.

I think i’ll get Fu then her LC since i am already 31 pity into LC banner so i should get it in 30 to 40 pulls while another copy of Fu with my luck will most likely cost me 150.

a maxxed out Blade with 88CR/200CRDMG for example will gain 10% more damage from running with E1 Fu Xuan over E0
BUT since the 10% CRDMG ornament set exists , most team now run at least 1 even 3-4 of this set, lowering the value of FX’s E1.

meanwhile the LC already provides a flat 9% more team DMG, all kinds of DMG including DoTs,non-crit, Break Effect dmg etc along with all other defensive utility goodies.

overall the LC provides competitive DMG buff while being far more universal than E1, costs less and potentially usable on other chars.
E1 provides a few % more DMG on some teams and worse DMG on some others.

only case I think E1 is worth a try over LC is when you have Blade and got very close to E6 Lynx after getting FX E0

    • I’m not a tester, only seen leaked gameplay on reddit, didn’t make any spreadsheets for this, so I may be wrong but…

I think LC is overall better. Even if we ignore the passive (which is nice) it offers HP and ER stats which you won’t find on any other Preservation LC. And having them on the LC means you can be more flexible with your relics. Ex. you could go with an HP% rope and swap out an HP% chest or boots for Crit or SPD respectively.
And if we consider the healing passive as well, it makes it easier for Fu Xuan to solo sustain your team even in the hardest content which makes your team-building more flexible too.

You can replicate the E1 buff by just having 3 Broken Keels on your team. I think that’s a realistic scenario since so many supports want it. Of course having +25% on top of all your Keels is still a nice buff, but at that point your crit DMG is probably starting to feel diminishing returns (esp if you’re also running Bronya or Yukong supports).

      * All STC if they decide to tweak numbers again before release
** Also, neither LC nor E1 feel strictly necessary. So far she looks perfectly solid at E0 with whatever LC you want to put on her (Day One Of My New Life seems good for team sustain and Herta shop LC probably good for personal survivability if you need it). Any extra investment on top of E0 adds bonus comfort which you may not even notice after your relics outstat all the content

for main stat: go for outgoing healing, spd, hp, hp or energy recharge if you don’t have her lc. for sets go for “Fleet of the Ageless” what gives 8% bonus atk for everyone and extra hp for herself=more heal=more survivability for fu xuan, 2p “Passerby of Wandering Cloud” and 2p “Longevous Disciple” for again more healing or “Guard of Wuthering Snow” if your fu xuan has problems to survive.
for substats: spd>=hp%->flat hp. (more spd=more healing and more skill points because in 3 turns she regenerates 1 energy when you go for na->na->skill->ult(do ult earlier if you can but at this point it should be ready again)->repeat so she has a positive skill point regeneration.

  6. Hoyoverse really did their math with her ult cost.
A skill->auto attack->auto attack rotation brings her to 115 energy, and with an energy recharge piece of 19% to her exact goal of a little over 135.

Question is if the damage transfer from her talent also triggers the energy regeneration from damage. If yes, then you wouldn’t even need the ER piece, most likely. But I doubt it will work this way.
