n/a | One of the judges of the Ten-Lords Commission on the Luofu. She is in charge of "detention" among the four judges of detention, interrogation, incarceration, and punishment. With iron chain and Mara-Sunder Awl in hand in tireless pursuit of recidivists, she will forthwith ensnare and subdue them all. The mortal coil of her past being has been reduced to ashes. She is reanimated via a puppet body. For each villain she captures, she gets in return half a day in the world of the living. |
n/a | "Ten Lords perceptual, Karma perpetual." Dressed as white as the driven snow, the Judge strolled out from the dim street, obscuring his final escape. The man drew closer, but the shrill tremble in his voice betrayed his fear: "How... is catching them not enough?" It may have started with a "How," but not as a question, rather as a rhetorical one. The semantic analysis goes back and forth in the mind, and there's no other intel other than "the target clearly knew who the accomplice was." She decided to execute the mission assigned to her straight away. The eyeballs, forehead, chin, heart, the Core Esse, and the lower abdomen... With a glance, she marked off all the parts that might make for a single effective strike. Despite foxians being known for their quick reactions, her opponent had left himself wide open and one round... two rounds, max, should be enough to take care of things. But this blow missed. The Judge looked at him with an air of curiosity. The man's body seemed to move like scurrying mice, with muscles undulating, and his eyes sparkled with the gleam of a well-executed plan. He panted violently as though suffering from a critical illness, and during a burst of uncontrollable pain his body shot out large swathes of fine hairs as his limbs and body swelled and tore open by some invisible force. Under the glow of moonlight within the delve, a monstrous wolfman stood up. In the view of the Judge, the sanguine silhouette enveloping its body had burned up into a wildfire. "You... are seeking death." She has an urge to sigh out of habit, but her body no longer has that function. "The partaking of the Disciples of Sanctus Medicus' concoction will only hasten your demise." The man's gaze barely wavers at all. "The second I was discovered by you, I only ever had a few more days to live." The foxian grabs the medicine pouch, and pours out more pills into his mouth as though it were candy. "You are a tool that sheds no blood and cry no tears. You could never understand — I have my reason for leaving here!" A huge fist suddenly expanded, filling up the entire field of vision, and the Judge barely had any time to react. Shaking her arms, the chain she clutched whipped into a circle as she tried to lasso the fist. The fist punched into her chest with astonishing force, splitting cracks into the ground like cobwebs and creating a crater beneath where the white-robed Judge was standing. There was no pain, only the gentle ringing of damaged ingenium parts. The white-robed Judge was left befuddled. |
n/a | "Madam Xueyi, this body of yours is beyond salvation. I... I have to move you into a new puppet now. This process may leave you a little confused. Please bear with me." Similar conversations had been exchanged between her and Huohuo the spiritfarer over and over again. She responded the same as always, "Thank you. This time, please pick something sturdy." She saw Huohuo's foxy ear twitch — was it out of frustration? She knew not. Her eyes could see, but they had no capacity for recognizing emotion... And maybe this was through no fault of her eyes. "I've packed all the best, hardest, and most flexible parts into Madam Xueyi's body, but your rates of injury and damage are still the highest in the division... The craftsmen of the Interrogation Division have started to grumble." "Once you put me together, I will..." "... Just give each of them a 'light' tap on the head, okay?" A familiar voice came beside her as she lay at sixes and sevens."They are still flesh and blood, and cannot stand your jokes." Long hair drooped down to cover her face, and a disturbance signal emitted from her artificial skin. The woman's face looking down had each independent feature combined into a new one that was both extremely familiar yet also kind to her. "Sister, having an ingenium body will always lull you into a false sense of invulnerability. However, I have to use the remaining days of reanimation to offset premature damage to this body of yours. I hope you can remember during your next mission that you've still got a sister out there who cares about you." "I remember." "Otherwise, you'll have to get Huohuo to write this line into your mind... Ah, just kidding, Huohuo. No need for that. I trust my sister can remember it." "So Madam Xueyi, let's begin." She felt herself being sliced open, copied, split into a thousand pieces, and uploaded into millions of circuits housed at the Ten-Lords Commission. When... In a flash, she shuffled through countless documents inscribed in the Hall of Karma and then, after a fleeting glimpse at all the souls of the Xianzhou, the memory vanished. Moments later, she entered the body of a nearby aurumaton spectral envoy, feeling both the strength of the metal body alongside the unshakable will of the jade abacus. She has one thousand pairs of eyes, watching over the people of Starskiff Haven with the wings and sight line of a cycrane... She has one thousand ears, scanning the changing waves and pitches among the infinite possible frequencies... Her one thousand hands write handwritten judgments on the spiritfarer's body, and her one thousand feet give chase over unfamiliar avenues... She knows that she's only inside the jade abacus circuitry of the Ten-Lords Commission, but she feels as though she were everywhere and gradually fading away... "Sister... sister!" A familiar voice rang out again beyond the waveform of the voiceprint, and she was trapped fast inside a memory. The white-robed judge was left befuddled. |
n/a | "Sister... sister!" She was shocked to discover herself beneath an azure sky, surrounded by lush undulating waves of wheat growing. She smiled as she braided together the twigs and flowers she'd picked up earlier, placing this wreath on the tiny head of the little girl in her lap. The girl turned back to look at her, smiling even more brightly than the flowers. She held onto this face tightly, vowing to eternally protect this delicate, fragile face — vowing to do many, many things for her. "Sister... sister!" As soon as she was distracted, this face relaxed and grew broader. There was no trace of weakness in those gorgeous eyes that needed her care — only perseverance. This face once walked side-by-side with her, boarding starskiffs together and cruising out beyond the borders. Sandstorms, frost, mud marks... Time has left behind much dirt upon this face. But these hands will always gently and meticulously wipe away everything. Just like herself, her sister has grown and matured. She shouldn't always wipe her sister's face clean in front of everyone like an anxious mother. But how could she ever just let go of things? She vowed to protect this face forever — vowing to do many, many things. "Sister... sister!" She looked up from the blood and fire of the scorched earth. On the ground lay thousands of familiar but lifeless faces, including that of her sister. But she couldn't find her own face. "I can save her. I can save all of you. All it takes is a wave of the branch and I can teach flesh to regrow from the mere bones or let petals rise up out of the dust to the flower once more. You know very well I can." Underneath her, a strange tree with a thousand faces spoke to her, and to everyone. THEY waved THEIR branches, penetrating deep into the earth. "I am Shuhu. I am eternal. From me, you shall gain true immortality." Sobbing, she closed her eyes, incapable of providing any resistance. At this moment, she was just an insignificant fruit upon this giant tree, powerless against mighty roots. A colossal, blazing sword plunged down from the heavens, scorching away the sweet yet putrid atmosphere. A towering figure in formidable armor crashed onto the battlefield like a meteor, bellowing at the towering tree. The strange tree blossomed once more like a perennial flower, its golden branches growing ferociously to tightly entangle the enemy. "Each time you overcome death, I am beyond overjoyed. Like them, your flesh and blood are insignificant, but your pain is something that pleases me." The branches laughed shrilly, letting each head speak one word on THEIR behalf, stringing together a sentence, "Teng Xiao, what do you plan on using to kill me this time? I'm curious." "With myself." The man replies calmly. Behind him, the golden illusion plunges the colossal blade straight down into the ground from high up in the sky. "Sister... sister!" The cries grow more urgent. She could feel herself being once again filtered, deleted, merged, and stuffed into a narrow and limited self. "These so-called Judges of the Netherworld and envoys of the Ten Lords truly amount to nothing." Like everyone who jolts awake from a dream, she returns to her body but has forgotten the momentary dream. The judge dressed in white feels befuddled. |
n/a | The raspy laughter of the foxian next to the judge's ears sounds like the howling of a wolf. The man took away dozens of the most valuable pellets in the organization. Now, it appears that he is simply lacking in combat experience. Ingesting just one pellet is already enough to easily crush the judge before him. "At the end, ingenia have their limits... They are nothing compared to the immeasurable potential of the bodies of us long-life species." The foxian chuckles and tries to retrieve his arm, only to find several chains entangling it. The chains are interlocked and intertwined over his skin like spider silk. The judge's eyes are glowing through the gaps in her long black hair, which cascades down her face. Her expression reminds the foxian of a predator that had smelled blood. "My ingenium organ, 'Deities of the Five Organ Senses,' has been damaged. The part responsible for my sympathy has been reduced." "...That's ridiculous!" As the foxian curls his fingers into the shape of a claw and powerfully slams it down, a three-pronged spike pierces through his palm. He shrieks in pain. "I originally wanted to let you undergo interrogation in the Shackling Prison with your body intact, but you have shattered my sympathy." "Just drop your act! Have you forgotten that I'm tied to you through your chain?" The wounded beast caught in the trap starts struggling. The foxian pulls the chain and drags the white-robed judge into his arms. Every inch of his massive muscles contracts like coiled ropes in response to his anger. The unsettling sound of bones sliding out of their sockets and becoming misaligned pops loudly in the air. "Just like how you put it, body of flesh and blood holds unfathomable potential... But it has a crucial setback. It feels pain." The white-robed judge's voice hums as the man's agonizing screams resonate in the night sky. She props her shattered right arm up. Her broken iron bone protrudes out like the sharp tip of a spear, stabbing into the foxian's jaw that already appears like a wolf's. The twisted fugitive scrambles in all directions but fails to break free from the judge's relentless pursuit. He rolls around on the ground in excruciating pain, finally losing consciousness and going limp like a puddle of goo. "You say I am a tool that sheds no blood and cries no tears?" The judge, now dressed in a bloodstained robe, slowly rises from the massive body of the criminal. "It's Abominations of Abundance like you... that have shattered my sympathy." She tries her best to push her skull, spine, and patella back to the correct positions, then fastens to her waist the severed arm that cannot be re-attached no matter what. What will her sister and Huohuo say about this time? A habit slumbering deep in her mind makes her want to heave a sigh, but her body no longer has that function. |

Does anyone know if it’s better to build her with all break effects or with a crit rate combination?
break effect and crit for sure
Best to focus on Crit Stats. You hardly need Break Eff subs because there’s already ample sources of it. Aiming for the 240% is possible but not worth it.
spd boots, BE rope and Atk% sphere. Subs are spd, BE, crit. Atk would also be very nice
Refrain from calling yourself dumb, have more confident in yourself. It is ok to not understand a thing or be ignorant, as long as you are asking politely people are happy to tell you or help you! 🙂
Can someone give me the cliff notes version of her kit please? Happy Holidays!!
Skill is a basic blast atk
Ult is a single target hit that reduces toughness even if the enemy isn’t weak to Quantum and does more damage based on Xueyi’s break effect
When she depletes toughness she gains stacks and when she has 8 stacks she does a follow-up
Shes scales well off break effect
Thanks! I assume it’s one stack per toughness depletion, also does her burst have an average burst toughness break or is it more than usual?
1 stack per Toughness depletion is only when allies are attacking.
Xueyi gets 1 stack per 30 Toughness she does from an attack, at least from what I can tell from leak videos.
This way, her skill can potentially net you 4 stacks (2 from main target, up to 2 from adjacents) and even more with Ruan Mei thanks to her 50% Break Efficiency (3 from main target, up to 3 more from adjacents *assuming* the game counts the sum of Toughness dealt, which in this case is 45+45 from adjacents).
Her Burst does 120 Toughness (it’s shown in the info above).
The important thing to note is the enemy has to have Toughness she can deplete. If you use your Ult on an enemy with only 30 Toughness left, that’s only 1 stack. If the enemy is already Broken, you’re not getting any stacks.
Is it one stack per attack or if her attacks are multi-hit like DHIL’s triple basic is that multiple stacks even though it’s one skill or burst?
Has a standard basic attack and blast skill. When she or an ally reduces toughness of an enemy she gains a stack, when she hits 8 stacks, she does a bounce follow up attack. Her A2 trace gives her a 1 to 1 damage boost based on her break effect up to 240, so build break effect then crit stats. Her ultimate is single target but reduces the toughness of the enemy ignoring weakness types. I think she is going to be a fun sub dps to run with a main dps with lots of break potential, like any other destruction or erudition unit.
Xueyi, Ruan Mei, Topaz and Himeko would be a pretty funny team comp. Xueyi and Himeko both do follow-up attacks based on weakness break which is buffed by Ruan mei and then trigger Topaz follow-up action forward
greedy cause you have 0 sustain but it still work cause you’ll break weaknesses quickly and delay their action
if you can add a Follow upper Sustain it’s Perfect (Aventurine ?)
That sounds super fun! Definitely gonna try that
I am dumb so make me correct.. So if she has 240% break effect then she will get 240% damage bonus?
So basically equivalent to 6 orb?
yes
So basically you don’t want Dmg Bonus on her, you’ll prefer an Attack orb
Wait so a unit possible can get 240% damage bonus on her own. Even QQ get like 100~130% damage bonus depend on stack, though she also get atk..
But she get so much damage bonus all time is not kind of cracked for a 4 star?
it is.
but her multipliers arent that high and she’s hard to build.
but if you do it correctly she can be insane (hope no Nerf coming)
This probably mistake in translation or directly in a leaks. Simple logic tall that bonus there should be only 10%. Because it’s ridiculous to give 240% damage buff for 4 star character only at second ascension. It’s will allow to stack this buff with crit bonuses from relics and have higher damage that can’t even deal some 5-star characters. With current kit there will be no more reason to roll new character when we will be have unit with such damage that in addition can ignore enemy weaknesses and have high break bonus. So it’s mostly mistake or if not trace still will be nerfed before release.
Hm? what’s the matter? her ascension traces simply makes it so that she gain quantum damage at 50% higher efficiency and can be build the stats directly with sub stats, while breaks itself still not a strong stats, for example Seele already get huge free stats, in additional to Resurgence without half the E and R scaling like Xueyi which her FUA doesn’t even come close to Blade’s. she’s balance.
if it isnt 240% she’s by far the worst character in the game.
don’t mistake it, her kit is crazy strong for a 4 star but nowhere near any 5 star DPS, even the lower.
By the way, there is a video with character on YouTube. In video attacks has very large damage numbers, but a solid part of it comes from break effect and Ruan Mei talent together with Bronya buffs, but even with 200% break effect there is no such huge number that suppose to be with current description. So there should better solution is to expect that the real bonus modifier is only 10% and at most can get up to 24% damage bonus. But even if it will be so the character is still very powerful because will be easily reduce stamina of any enemy, delay actions and just do a lot of damage due to the break effect.
idk why you thinking 240% Dmg would lead to like 100K damage by herself
i seen the videos and it definitly 240, not 24.
remember, she doesn’t have high base stats/ high multiplicators/ she can’t have full attack on her build/ she can’t have full crit
240% Dmg buff is insane but it’s just one multiplicator, if the others are low you won’t hit that hard
Yeah, that video is too perfect to showcase this unit, and it’s hard to gauge her potential in an average team. E6 along with two buffers and Fu Xuan which provides bonus crit chances and of course a boss with a suitable vulnerability to quantum set which in addition has pretty good crit rolls. With this set and Ruan Mei skills, it’s not that hard to hit 150k or more with ultimates even without 240% damage bonus. So it wouldn’t be a surprise if the actual bonus is actually less than everyone expects. Especially it looks silly if compare Dr.Ratio talent, which at max conditions gives only 30% crit damage against 240% pure damage of a 4-star character. In addition, there is another video from 3 weeks ago where this unit does not have such ideal conditions and damage drops significantly. In any case, the developers probably will nerf character before release like than do before with her sister, since they would’nt make a 4-star hero stronger than 5-star and losing money on downtime banners. So even if this is unpleasant, but a smaller bonus sounds more realistic. However, it still be great if bonus is actually will present at patch release, since among 4-star characters is miss such universal DPS unit.
240% break is not easy to get, you can probably only get around 130% break effect and 190% with E4
E0,
Traces = 37
BE Rope = 64
Thief 4 set = 32
Talia 145 SPD = 36
total = 170%
E4 = 40
Ruan Mei = 20
total = 230% BE. SPD boot and small SPD substat required . Should be easier to reach with Ruan Mei since she increases team SPD by 10%.
Well since she’s coming together with Ruan Mei, it probably won’t be that difficult at all to get her E4 together with Mei. Best of luck for all E4 Xueyi wanters!
without substats and with only one of the 2 break set(Talia or Thief).
a good substat give you 25%-30% on top of that so if you really want to reach 240 it’s not really hard.
Talia Kindom of Banditry 2 piece set will give 36% at 145 speed
Thief of Shooting Meteor 4 piece set will give 32%
Link Rope Break Effect Main stat will give 64.8%
at this point total BE is already 132.8% and there are not Break Effect Destruction Light Cones
Sub-stat rolls of Break effect are 5.1%, 5.8% and 6.5%
You need 21 rolls of Break Effect at lowest to reach 239.9% Break effect for 107.1%
You need 17 rolls at minimum to reach over 240% if all are high rolls
Yeah definitely not easy to reach 240% without a lightcone but you already get 100% damage bonus from Relic Sets and Link Rope alone. You double her damage from having those on regardless of substats
Umm did you forget she has multiple traces that increase BE? Total BE from traces is 37.3%, which is quite significant.
so from what i seen there’s my guess on her build
first the Lightcone :
it may be a surprise but i don’t think ‘The Fall of an Aeon’ is the Best for Her (still good) since she doesn’t really benefit of more DMG buff.
what we want for her is Attack buff and Crit buff, what she really miss in her kit.
So you can keep the herta LC for another character, i think the best F2P for her should be ‘Under the Blue Sky’, kinda logic since it’s her signature cone.
‘Welcome to the Moles’ or ‘Nowhere to Run’ may work too.
planar ornament :
Talia is the obvious must have, the 36% break damage give you more option for her subsats wich is important.
space station is an option (not Glamoth), salsotto work but not that great (cause it’s a DMG buff)
relics set :
Genius of the Brilliant Star is the bis for her, the 10-20% Defense shred is insane and since it’s not a DMG buff it’s great for her.
Thief set for breakEffect is ok but you need it only if you struggle to have 240 BE, wich is actually not that hard.
Prisonner in deep confinement is the Best if you play her in a DoT team.
stats :
Rope – 64,8% BreakEffect , obvious, with the 36% from the set you already have 100,8%BreakEffect
Sphere – 43,2% Attack seem to be better this time. it should give you more than Quantum sphere if your DMG buff is over 200%(xueyi have more than 300% by herself)
Boots – 25 Speed is needed i you wanna reach 145, if you play with Ruan Mei, 103+25+15% = 147
Body – as your choice Attack%/Crit rate/Crit DMG, i’ll personnaly chose 32,4% CritRate
with that your BreakEffect is at 64,8+36+32,7(from Traces) = 133,5% (106,5 needed)
BUT if you have E4 (wich is ok cause she’s a 4 star) you have 40% more BreakEffect, If you play Ruan Mei you have 20% more.
Leading to 193,5% (only 46,5 needed)
it’s actually huge even without substats.
it’s ok if you can’t reach the max Dmg buff, if you have more than 200% i suggest to not sacrifice Crit or Attack just for the 240%, it doesn’t worth it.
so on substats :
keep in mind a 200-240% Break effect goal (good pieces give you 25-30%) / Crit Rate- Dmg / Attack%
Maybe Crit above Attack.
Disagree about Herta LC, it’s main effect is 16% ATK boost per stack, up to 4 stacks, that is a 64% ATK boost permanently after just 4 attacks. Even if the 2 turn DMG buff is lost on her, or not that effective, no other LC gives that much ATK boost.
Moles can get up to 72% IF you have it S5 and it’s one stack per type of attack, so at some point you’ll have to do a basic atk to get all 3 stacks. Not really that worth it for just 8% more ATK and getting an S5 of it in the gacha is really hard, I’ve only managed an S2 so far.
Under the Blue Sky is only 32% ATK increase at S5 (also really hard to get) but it has a 3 turn 24% crit rate buff on kills which might justify it.
Given all that, and how Herta’s LC is “easy” to get S5 (at least it’s guaranteed to get it even if slow), I think it is the best option for her.
yeah as i said it really work well but i feel like the 24% Crit rate really worth it cause it’s really hard to have Crit on her.
on top of that, attack buffs are really more common in the game than Crit buffs.
ofc it depend on what cone you have in your box, personnaly i have S4 Moles and S4 under the blue sky
considering other characters like the fall of an aeons more than xueyi you should keep it. but if you don’t use it already, yeah you can.
the major problem with this unit is it appears in dr.ratio’s banner instead of ruan mei. why cant it be like kafkas banner back then. luka and sampo are both there.
But the banners aren’t even confirmed yet. Just like we were supposed to get Jing Liu in 2nd half with Xueyi, but we got Topaz and Gui. We may just get Ruan Mei with Xueyi regardless of whether she’s in 1st or 2nd half too. Nothing is set in stone until the patch livestream.
People assumed based on drip marketing even though Xueyi’s kit was obviously meant to be paired with Ruan Mei
this didnt age well..
LoL tho worcestershire got points for using his insite
Attack Orb vs Quantum Orb:
Assuming AEON light cone R5 (herta store) w/ max stacks
This favours against atk% orb as much as possible.
Both character and LC maximum level, +15 relics.
With Speed boots:
The 43.2% mainstat increases overall attack by 20%
For 38.8% Quantum DMG to equal 20% overall damage%, the current DMG% must be 194%:
Therefore ATK% orb > Quantum% Orb, if DMG% > 194.
With Attack% boots:
The 43.2% mainstat increases overall attack by 18%
For 38.8% Quantum DMG to equal 18% overall damage%, the current DMG% must be 215%:
Therefore ATK% orb > Quantum% Orb, if DMG% > 215.
Rope + Traces: 99.4 DMG%, 4-pc Quantum set: 10 DMG%.
Without external buffs, she almost always prefers Quantum orb. Her kit lacks sources of crits, so critical substats are more desireable than break effect substats.
but reaching the max Dmg buff isn’t really that hard and it’s way more than 194-215%, even more if Ruan Mei.
so i feel that she’ll always prefer Attack orb.
and you can hit 240% BE (180+ 40 from E4 + 20 from RM) and still have some Crit
i feel like she only need really good roll on relics, she’s hard to build but you don’t have to sacifice anything.
soo is she going to get that full dmg bonus from her ultimate when the enemys weakness is broken or does she need jsut a tiny bit of weakness left?
Just going off the text, the bonus scales based on how much Toughness is depleted by the Ult.
To get the full bonus, the Ult has to hit for the full 120 Toughness. If the enemy only had 30 Toughness (1/4 of 120) then presumably the bonus goes down to 1/4 too (so 15% at Lvl 10). If they were Broken, there’s no Toughness for the Ult to reduce, so most likely there’s no bonus.
Is Talia better than Salsotto overall considering you’re likely going to have a huge DMG boost from all the break effect and no crit?
If you are running her with Fu Xuan and crit rate feels decent already, Talia might be better. The spd on the Talia is a bit stiff though, which might take some of your crit or atk substats if you are unlucky.
If you’re running her with Ruan Mei already the 145 speed shouldn’t be an issue with the speed buff provided + speed boots.
