From the very beginning, he approached this duty with piety and unwavering conviction. |
| Character Story: Part I | His hometown was ravaged by war for years, and the memories of his early childhood were tainted by the horrors of bloodshed and relentless shelling. Amidst the chaos, he sought refuge underground and, by chance, discovered an ocarina beneath a stone tile. With trembling hands, he attempted to coax a melody from the instrument. However, his "music" proved to be terrible. Yet, the ethereal notes emanating from his ocarina became his sanctuary, a spiritual escape from the harsh reality. Over time, the melodic strains faded into the recesses of his memory, becoming a mysterious and elusive moment. It was only years later, during a bard tour, when he saved a child from the flames of war and received a precious ocarina as a token of gratitude, that the melodies of his past resurfaced. Holding the exquisite instrument in his hands, he examined its flawless and noble craftsmanship. Once again, the melodies of his childhood converged, evoking a flood of emotions and memories. However, his "music" remained terrible. "I'm too clumsy to master this instrument..." He murmured in self-deprecation. Yet, after a profound moment of contemplation, a resolute courage ignited within him. He resolved to try once more, to weave a melody. The music remained unchanged, but this time, he laughed wholeheartedly. "Despite the terrible music, I love it. I believe it to be beautiful." Alongside physical and mental training, he would often listen to his master's tales of bygone eras — stories of transcendent beauty and mystical phenomena witnessed by the Minstrels. "It was a world bathed in amber, draped in undisturbed stillness, where every being shed tears for the magnificent wonders veiled beneath its surface." "Rumor has it that Idrila, after embarking on a journey spanning numerous cycles of Thirteen Amber Eras, will make a triumphant return to the universe during the elusive thirteenth month." Day after day, his master imparted the essence of beauty to him. He learned to go beyond mere poetic recitation and embrace devotion as the embodiment of beauty, truly upholding its philosophy. He understood that beauty was not just a code to follow but a way of life, an existence known as a knight. He pledged to offer his soul and life at the feet of the Aeon of Beauty. The profane words of the Triple Demons resembled fragmented ravings, morphing into manifestations of human desires. They embodied the crass pursuit of personal gain, shameless indulgence in sin, the allure of power, and the enticement of battle and worldly pleasures. Their aim was to erode repentance and replace it with the banality of common sense. His blood mingled with his flowing locks on the battlefield, with each crimson droplet intertwined with honor. Yet, the unchanging truth remained in their collective quest to unravel the enigma of Idrila in the vast universe. He vowed to uphold humility, mercy, and justice, remaining steadfast in honoring his oaths along the arduous path. "Those freaks!... The Knights of Beauty are a bunch of freaks!" As rumors of Idrila's demise spread throughout the cosmos, their perplexity deepened. Piety intermingled with doubt, and laughter intertwined with lunacy. …I wonder if we’ll get an erudition specialized support unit in future who’ll put “fake” enemies on the enemy side of the field thus taking up a slot preventing actual enemy spawns and providing more targets for erudition units that need said targets if it’s a solo boss or something. Like the fake enemy would only have the most minimal break bar and be weak to the casters type(and maybe a random party members type too?), when it gets its turn it attacks the whole party for like 1 damage (to trigger things like blade or clara and give the party energy from technically getting hit), when broken it spreads the break debuff on the enemy party, when “killed” it drops a different debuff like def down. If the enemy party is full the fake enemy just auto dies and inflicts its on-death debuff. Maybe make the fake enemy function like lightning lord/ Numby as a talent with one spawning/reviving every 3 of the characters turns, the skill could be a basic blast attack for easy breaking, but the basic attack would advance the fake enemy forward via a trace, as for the ult… detonate all existing fakes and then spawn the maximum number of fakes (like 2 at base, 3 with an eidolon/trace upgrade?)…

This does almost half of damage than a proper build. But if you were to obtain a few 3 star erudition blessings to make your ult aftertaste, the balance might shift.
note that Aftertaste damage is the path of Elation (Aha). Not Erudition (Nous). SU doesn’t have an Erudition path (yet?)

of course not, he’s erudition. He will play similar role as JY, with huge energy cost as his caveat
don’t treat and play him like a hypercarry like seele/JL/IL
his multipliers are about the same as jy so if u put him in jy’s asta+tingyun team he’ll feel about the same, however one thing he does have to his advantage is that unlike jy, 100% of his dmg is bronya-able, so u won’t get the weird case where 60% of jy’s dmg (LL) isn’t affected at all by bronya’s dmg% buff, which is a big deal.
To see his full potential you need his LC.
With it his dmg is probably better then IB or Jingliu per screen shot. Remember he only nuke when ultim, I’m not sure how much he can spam his 180 energies ultim tho.

i am grateful.
He seems like a straight forward Character. Main DPS is his Ultimate. I would go 4-Piece “Champion of Street Wise Boxing” & 2-Piece “Inert Salsotto” for Ultimate DMG. For speed/dps build I would go with the new 2-Piece ” Firmament Frontline Glamoth” for over-all consistent DPS over time. Finding & leveling SPD + Crit relics is very difficult enough as it is.
