Character Details | The universe is just another game to this super hacker. No matter how thorny the defense system, Silver Wolf can crack it with ease. Her hacking battle with Screwllum of the Genius Society has become stuff of legends in the hacking world. How many more levels are there to beat in the universe? Silver Wolf looks forward to finding out. |
Character Story: Part I | She toyed with the joystick, day in, day out. A fast food restaurant with only one employee, a basement turned into an arcade hall, several old arcade machines — this was her childhood. She didn't have a legal name or an identity number, only a nickname the proprietress chose for her. She did not have any friends, but she is not lonely. She liked the game of Pong — two lines and a dot of light, the simplest of ball games. She could play it for a whole day. She liked Battle Wheel She liked Geometric Wars, Odysseus, and Star Cheetah. The score records on these games were filled with astronomical numbers left by other patrons. She toyed with the joystick, day in, day out. Until one day, only one name remained on all of the score records. She set down the joystick and looked around the empty basement. Many people have sought respite in this place, but few stayed behind. Many have left, but few returned. She blinked and turned off the screen. That night, the only employee of the fast food restaurant said goodbye to proprietress, and became the next person to leave. The game called Basement ended that night. * Unlocked at Character Level |
Character Story: Part II | She traveled west through the barren land, arriving at Mount Scrap. She wants to find a job, but was obstructed by her tendency to be a loner. On Punklorde, almost everyone works in teams. Loners usually don't last long. Acquiescing to her situation, she fabricated some virtual partners. Her first one was called Friend. Of course it was. Her second was Demon Lord, inspired by a poster she saw on the streets. In her imagination, it was a veteran who had lost the ability to speak. She suddenly thought this team was too harmonious and lacked realism, so she named the third one Whitecollar and the fourth Servant. Her final one was called Preschool Classmate — there wasn't a special meaning attached to this. She just really ran out of ideas. After much deliberation, she deleted this last person from her list. She stored her "partners" in an intelligent weapon, so she could pompously introduce her sizable team to intermediaries. She got her first job — its risk was as unimaginable as its reward. Maybe she sold herself too well that people believed her, or they just wanted to see this newbie's performance, dead or alive. On Punklorde, almost everyone works in teams. Loners usually don't last long. Those who could last would eventually become legends. After The intermediary was silent. They looked at her, then at the sky, before turning around to toss a chest full of gold ingots on the ground. The game called Mount Scrap ended that day. * Unlocked at Character Level |
Character Story: Part III | She stood at the top of the tallest building in the Rainbow City, from which she could see her birthplace. A fast food restaurant with only one employee, a basement turned into an arcade hall, several old arcade machines — this was her childhood. She remembered liking the game of Pong — two lines and a dot of light, the simplest of ball games. She could play it for a whole day. Just like how right now the crimson lights of the hoard of drones filled the night sky in crisscrossed line. Wave by wave they swarmed her, and wave by wave they fell. She remembered liking Battle Wheel Just like how right now distinct colors split the internet into eight regions, and people from all kinds of organizations gather in the square for a singular goal — to capture Silver Wolf, no matter the cost. She remembered liking Geometric Wars, liking Odysseus, liking Star Cheetah. The score records on these games were filled with insurmountable, astronomical numbers. Just like how right now— Wait, no, only this is somewhat different... "Insurmountable." Hah, what's that? She stood at the top of the tallest building in the Rainbow City, from which she could see her birthplace. She has climbed too high for another person to stand beside her. However, she looked up even higher than before. She can see the starry skies within reach of her hands, but yet so impossibly far. "So boring." The game called Rainbow City ended that day. * Unlocked at Character Level |
Character Story: Part IV | She stood on a chair and dusted the screen of the arcade machine in circular motions again and again, trying to wipe away each particle of dust on it. She returned to that fast food restaurant, to that basement. She opened the door, and everything was where they used to be. The proprietress kept all the arrangements for her. The soft pink light spilled on the screen like the neon lights in the city, reminding her of the starry skies she saw on that day. She was not the first to reach the top of that building, and not the first to have gazed upon those starry expanses. She knew the story of Zero, the greatest hacker and the most terrifying player in the era of Internet Wars. He caused the first global network paralysis just to summon the IPC's escort ship to his doorstep. She thought of Sage, the creator of the aether editing technology, a weirdo who named himself after the dead. To leave the planet, he was willing to discard his physical flesh, raid into the Dark Zone, and become a wraith eternally wandering the Interastral Network. She recalled Stoneblade, the pride of Mount Scrap. His tales of resisting the Oasis Zone were oft-told among familiies in the barren land. Some said he eventually left with the Galaxy Rangers, continuing his rebellious spark in the cosmos. His lover, Twinsnake, a celebrity in the Oasis Zone. Her whereabouts were widely disputed, and all people knew was that their birth could not stop them from being together, but the cosmos eventually parted them. On Punklorde, any hacker who can be called "legendary" has ended up with the same fate. As the legend of the current era, she knew that she has already arrived at that threshold. Clop, clop... She heard footfalls coming from above her, getting closer, closer... One, two, three, four people. A man, a woman, a metal humanoid, and... She sat down, turned around, and looked around the empty basement one last time, before turning to the person at the door... "I'll join." The game called Punklorde ended that day. * Unlocked at Character Level |

I dunno guys… I just cleared MoC 6-10, and having the ability to change weaknesses against 3 waves of tanky enemies with different weaknesses was enough to justify me pulling for her…
Hmm Silverwolf just sent me 10 fuel containers through email while making a Star Wars reference. Loucha’s going to have to step his game up.
I recognized a SW hater on Reddit the other day. I checked their post history, and it looked like they were ALL IN on skipping Seele, and putting all their eggs into the Jing Yuan basket, just to find out that they were struggling to clear the MoC. Now they cannot get stars in the current and previous MoC, and they are super livid that they do not have the funds for SW to pair with a Seele. Now they are just spamming negativity about SW everywhere on Reddit, and making Luocha pullers look worse by pretending they are pulling for him when they probably don’t have the funds for him either lol rip. I hope some of you on here are not like this.
I’m was personally skipping SW for Luocha, but I somehow got her in my first 10 pull ¯\_(ツ)_/¯. I don’t have Bailu or Gepard. I may follow up on this post a year from now and let you know who is better if I remember. I’m biased for Luocha because I think he’s hot.
An insidious conspiracy of evil and weak Jing Yuan who have neither damage nor jade on other characters, lol
in terms of usage silver wolf will be useful the more character released
while luocha will be meta for most destruction and hunt dps (maybe until 2.0) and can also do dmg bcz of atk scale
overall both are good in their own way
luocha will be good at current version
while silverwolf will become better at a later version(she is great alrdy despite no mono quantum team)
and in terms of their appearance i do like OTTO so luocha
I’m back! My general consensus based on my experience with both of them. I need Luocha to get to MoC 10. I need Silverwolf to 3 star floors. Overall, I think Luocha is a more general “better” pull since he makes all my teams literally immortal. However, I cannot live without SW because she allows me to get the Moc rewards from starring floors. All in all, these 2 characters are super useful, and idk why Mihoyo be putting both of them back to back because thats so cruel 🙁
It’s funny to look at people who spend jade on Pela 2.0, instead of Loucha. There’s too much hype around her.
In fact, Loucha – the only must have that is in the nearest banners
Strong element, passive heal, debuff delete with his skill, and removal of buffs from enemies and that’s not all.
When there are more characters, everyone will forget about Pela 2.0, while Loucha will be the best heal in the coming years.
And when other 4 and 5 star abundance characters come out, probably multiple in the coming months (not years, look at the leaks), then what?
Why would I need him if I have Bailu or Gepard…
Ehhhh, EHHHHHH. I know you guys like to troll around here, but undervaluing the ability to circumvent one of the main mechanics of the game does not make your argument more convincing. Like I already have 3 characters than can cleanse, that’s nothing special. Loucha is definitely strong and will be good with aggressive teams specifically (teams where every character is always attacking with every ability), but don’t overdo it.
“undervaluing the ability to circumvent one of the main mechanics” you don’t need dps of each element, you can quite break with the help of suitable supports like Asta. Thus, it is not as valuable as it seems at first glance. And the more characters you have collected – it doesn’t matter, dps, support, heal, the less value there is in adding weakness.
On the other hand, Loucha is a top 1 heal and it is unknown if heal will ever be better than him. In the late game, those who chose Pela 2.0 instead of god-tier heal will regret when they have a little more characters with different elements.
These doomposters been really quiet since she was realeased, it’s the Kazuha incident all over again lmao.
Except SW is actually good, Kazuha is still the most misunderstood character years later. People thought he was trash, but he was way better than that. Now people overhype him and blow him way out of proportion.
After playing several playstyle on my own, and somehow theory crafting my own team without internet knowledge. I seek info and what i found from my own good ness. This unit is clearly a must pull. Not only shes a must pull, shes so OP that the Event/Story write her as misarable hacker lmao.
God she is a must pull, her ulti can break toughness already insane with her fast innate speed. Dam
Just a friendly reminder that absolutly no character is a “must pull”. She definately opens interesting team compositions and brings a lot of value if you know when to slot her in, but no-one should feel bad for not pulling her if they don’t like her.
That said, if you do get her and build her with break effect and effect hit rate (instead of attack and crit) and you manage to constantly break toughness with her, she will nuke the ennemy down like no other sub-dps.
I keep on hearing that no character is a “must pull” in both Genshin and now Honkai Starrail. At this point, if no character is a must pull, people will either save forever, or pull on a character that is the “most must pull without being must pull” at this point because its pointless. SW probably fits in this category in my opinion.
Well, for the record there are people who specifically do “no pull” accounts in Genshin, just using the characters they get for free, for the challenge. So that’s a thing. I’m sure there are people doing it in Star Rail too.
“No character is a must pull” is not advice to pull no one; it’s just means, pull the characters that you like for whatever the reason. Don’t be pressured into pulling characters you don’t actually want or like by ‘the meta.’ Like if you pull a character only because they’re ‘meta’ and realistically this super meta character allows you to earn a whole extra 100 primos or stellar gems you would not have gotten otherwise from every abyss/Moc cycle, so 2 more pulls per patch; how long for this character to “pay” for itself? Like 5+ years of playing. Pulling for meta alone is basically a psychological scam.
“Silverwolf is useless. She only works in quantum monoteams, she is too RNG dependent. She is a 5 star Pela but more expensive with less utility. They nerfed her weakness injection to 2 turns. Skip this banner trash and go for Luocha. If you roll for Silverwolf, you’re an idiot wasting your warps.”
Literally the Kazuha situation again. I spent weeks trying to convince people of her utility/value only to be met with doompost after doompost. Part of me wishes the SW banner ended, and only her value was realized after the fact to punish those naysayers (Kazuha situation.) Fortunately, reality this time is kinder for everybody, and people realized SW is actually a great unit a few days after her banner drop.
I really recommend her, even over Luocha. Sure, he is a great healer no doubt, but many more healers are coming out in the future. If you follow the leaks and the unreleased character charts they provide, there are 4 of them incoming. Weakness implant will most likely never show up again, and will allow you to use Seele to actually become a DPS in any floor and get stars in MoC. If they already have an innate quantum weakness, just bring 2 different monotypes into your team to get a full team of shield breakers.
Wish you all luck on your SW pulls. In the mean time, I’m going to start calling out all those naysayers I’ve interacted with on Youtube and Reddit who doomposted days before the Honkai community upgraded her in many tier lists.
It sounds like you are just desperate ur waifu doesn’t really sell well lol. Anyway people still prioritize having 2 healer nowadays, most players who don’t get a bailu ofc want to secure their acc first by pulling a recent healer banner to carry their acc on MoC, especially for f2p who wants to progress and get more rewards. I know many more healers will coming out on the future but we still don’t know when the patch they will be relesed, instead of waiting the uncertainty better pull what we got in front of us . yes, she is good but not a mandatory to have/pull.
Amount of jades you will miss without Loucha is miserable
Also even if u have him, u will most probably not able to clear 6> stages of MOC
In my expirience you can clear those w/o second healer, shielder
March and PMC are doing just fine for that stages
Stop misleading people with these generalizations supported by no evidence…
If we’re comparing characters based on theoretical performance in MOC (which, mind you, is only one part of HSR), it’s just downright lying to claim that a 2nd healer like Luocha won’t help clear the current MOC stages, with the current MOC bosses (9/10 stages have a boss weak to imaginary) and MOC buffs.
Even if we want to start theorizing about caracter performance in future MOCs (“future-proofness”), having a 2nd healer should be considered a safe pull when we have 0 knowledge of what future MOCs will look like.
tl;dr – If you want to clear current MOC, both SW and Luocha are safe pulls. If you want to clear future MOCs, either SW or Luocha could be safe pulls based on your existing teams (do you already have 2 healers? do you already have Nihility / debuffers?) Don’t listen to people on the internet who claim to be certain about the future.
So far SW sells better than the General / Seele, lol. How Loucha simps hurts when people skip it because of SW/Kafka/Blade. Do you take this as a personal insult or what?
Tottaly agree, i dont see any reason to pull Loucha unless you want a Mono Imaginery with DanHeng IL
SW opens so many team comps
Electro (Jing Ting Bailu)
Wind (Blade Bronya Huo Huo)
Phys (Sushang Clara Natasha)
Ice (Jinglu/Yanq Pela Gepard)
With more characters she will shine even more
Etc quant/imaginery/fire
Also just 1.5x your damage with shreds, and dealing lots of Sub DPS
I wanna build up, Electro Wind and Ice team comps, i guees i can make it with a bit of luck
SW E6 > Seele E6 in single target.
Of course, Seele, thanks to his talents, can in some sense be an AoE dps, which SW can’t, but it’s still funny.
You need to take account that seele attacks multiple times in one turn. Seele still beat SW if you count resurgence,
She beats her without it. The stupid damage calc does not even add Seele’s damage buff to her not just the extra turn.
