I still don’t quite get the change to her skill. If I understand it correctly it now has a random factor, which is probably going to feel very bad when playing. Why didn’t they just Nerf the dot damage on her skill by like 10 to 15 percent instead of making it high or low damage on a 50/50 chance? I think her overall damage will still be higher but the random factor is going to feel pretty bad.
No its dont have eandom factor, high dmg on the main tarhet and low on the adjacent units
Its a buff hoyo cant nerf an existing character kit due to a policy and by that what i mean is that its not random her skill can now detonate dot in a blast. primary target is hit with a 75% scaling of the original damage while adjacent is hit with 50% scaling so major buff for her skill a very much needed one too.
You clearly did not understand it correctly.
“If the designated enemy OR their adjacent target(s) is currently receiving DoT, all DoTs currently placed on that enemy immediately produce DMG equal to 82.5% OR 55% of their original DMG.”
It deals damage to the main target, and explodes their dot. It also deals damage to adjacent targets, and explodes their dots. Both the initial damage and the dot explosion is weaker on the adjacent targets.
As far as i know there is no random factor. No idea what you mean. She deals 160% vs one target and deals damage based on 75% of DoT, and 60% vs targets besides them and deals damage based on 50% of DoT to them.
Kafka V3:

Will make hitting 3.6k ATK for the new planar set easier, and desaturates her DMG% greatly. Not sure how 100% ATK (roughly 1000atk) matches up to the DMG% though.

So the complete rework of her A6 means Kafka EHR target goes from 29% to 67%, which is going to mean refarming her relic sets for a whole bunch of players (myself included)… I suppose this is a worthy trade, but it still hurts
yep, it’s been a pain. though, thankfully, my best speed pieces also had a decent bit of ehr on them.
I really hope they bring her A2 requirement down to match the EHR she actually needs. 65 instead of 75. getting 75 ehr, 147+ speed, and 3600 atk for the new planar set is turning out to be super tight on substat rolls.
Is the second part of a6 “can cause all DoT debuffs the target is currently under to immediately produce DMG equal to 80% of the original DMG.” permanent? or does it only apply to the 1 charge you get from that ult? or all charges if you had 2 of them at the time?

Can Kafka’s bonus attacks trigger “Before the Tutorial Mission Starts” passive? If yes, is that then the best in slot for her?
I don’t see why it wouldn’t, but then you’d just have to figure out how many extra ults would overcome the straight DMG% and extras from her fav LCs. BS can supply the DEF reduction, but you’re likely to miss it on occasion. Good question.
If the “+75% DMG” buff will work on Kafka too, then 100% the best slot.

‘ally targets’ – does this include or exclude Kafka?
‘ally targets’ EHR >75%’ – is this individually (all need >75% EHR) or as a group?
‘Kafka increases their DoT dealt by 75%’ – Does this include Kafka?
I believe ‘ally targets’ is just your whole team minus things like Numby, but not every dot unit needs >75% EHR, least of which Kafka (needs like ~23%).
Its an individualized buff (“THEIR DoT dealt” if it was team wide they’d say ‘increases ally DoT damage dealt’) also it shouldn’t apply to Kafka as other abilities in game with the description of ally targets don’t apply to their character.
Obviously it’s pairing with Black Swan since she have over 100% EHR.
To me it sounds like, when Kafka is in the team, whoever’s EHR is over 75% will get a 75% DoT damage increase. For example, in a Kafka, Black Swan, JiaoQiu team, Black Swan and JiaoQiu usually have around 120% EHR, so those two will receive the 75% DoT damage increase. While Kafka usually doesn’t have over 75% EHR, so she herself cannot receive the damage increase.

>Easier built gear that isn’t largely focused on rolling ATK% 4 times
>Less ATK% saturation so external buffs are better
note that Kafka is losing the trace that made her base application chance 130. She needs about 75 EHR herself now.

Or maybe because wording plays a big role in games like these, and its better to be 100% clear and certain than assume and end up being wrong IN ANY CONTEXT, and this is probably why the older generation is losing merit and respect by the day, y’all are conceited, rude asf, and have no manners, there was absolutely no reason to be disrespectful and yet you chose to insult someone asking a question for clarification instead of just going about your day, also you don’t even know how old this person is, so assuming they’re gen z just shows you have some issues with younger people that you need to work out.
Also, your “company” probably doesn’t hire Gen z because the older generation has a knack for overworking while underpaying people and seeing how Gen z ask about pay, benefits, hours, expectation etc, and don’t like/accept that overwork and underpay method its probably not a match for you.
Finally, just because you understand and or interpret something one way, doesn’t mean others do as well or is even correct, that’s WHY questions are asked and things are clarified.
Not Gen Z, not an answer, and not relevant. Beta wording is often subject to change for clarification and HSR has plenty of examples like ‘all allies’ which means something different than expected in standard English.

The wording for this trace is so jank it makes me angry. As it is now It’s taking an already niche buff and making it more niche by adding a condition on the receiving unit to activate it.
As far as I know there’s no other buff in the game that works like that. I don’t see why it’s necessary either cause what the hell are they scared of to make it so Huo Huo doesn’t get a damage bonus when she gets a break off.
I’m still hoping it was mistranslated and it’s actually just “If Kafka has 75% ehr then the team gets 75% DoT damage bonus.”
It’s kind of weird, and probably will change, but with Kafka losing some EHR, every DoT unit already needs around 70% EHR (or more), throw a roll or two at it and you get a 75% buff.
