is he like anaxa where same path character in team Vs no same path in team give different buffs. if so not sure which is better
i think it’s not really different buffs, just making it so he can be played outside Elation teams without losing too much damage. though Elation TB is free, so it’s not that hard to fit him into Elation teams, I for example don’t have Yao Guang so Elation TB is the best i’ll have for Aven (planning on pulling for him to have at least one Elation dps, have 0 rn :P). still i’m curious to see what comps you can cook up for Aven without other Elation chars
TL:DR – He’s flexible and both teams works. Ashveil and/or Mortenax Blade is BiS with Aventurine as the Only Elation Unit in the team & Yao Guang and Elation MC is the BiS for him as an Elation Hypercarry. TBH it depends on how Hoyo Buffs and/or Nerfs him to truly see the comparison. IMO I think his Elation Hypercarry team will deal more dmg but I already have Silver Wolf Lv.999 and her BiS teammates (Sparxie and Yao Guang) that I’d just pick him and throw him with Mortenax and Ashveil because sometimes I wish I had another Elation Unit that doesn’t need Yao Guang to not feel worse that or I throw Elation MC at him with Tribbie and DHPT.
Aventurine Waveflair’s Team setup is like how Silver Wolf Lv.999 and Evanescia work. Let me explain. Aventurine is similar to Evanescia in that she’s just a Hypercarry Elation Unit. Just Buff her as she is the main source of the team’s damage. So in this case Aventurine will receive the buffs of Yao Guang and Elation MC and his Trace just makes his Elation Skill deal 100% more DMG. On the other hand, with Silver Wolf Lv.999’s, she and Sparxie both deal similar DMG in the team with Yao Guang as Support. The reason it works is because Silver Wolf and Sparxie synergize well together (Silver Wolf needs more Ult Stacks through Punchlines and Sparxie can spend up to 20 Skill Points to get 20 Punchlines). For Aventurine, he and Ashveil will deal similar DMG in the team with Mortenax Blade as support (depending on how you built him he too becomes both Support and DPS). The reason Aventurine, Ashveil, and Mortenax Blade synergize well is because Ashveil and Mortenax Blade feed on each other already because Ashveil FUA hits whenever his tagged enemy is hit and he needs to ult to get his FUA counter back which feeds Mortenax Blade’s FUA counter because it counts every FUA and Ultimate. Now you add Aventurine Waveflair into the mix with his Trace. If he is the ONLY Elation Unit he Spds up Aha. More SPD on Aha = More Elation Dmg = More Dmg overall. Now you add in the 2nd part of if Aventurine is the only Elation Unit and now every Usage of an Attack helps generate Punchline and more Punchline = Elation More Dmg. So basically More Punchline = More Elation DMG and More Aha Spd = More DMG because Aha is taking their turn quicker. Now Aventurine is someone who NEEDS to build SPD so he’ll attack frequently already but with Aha also being faster Aventurine will also be going when Aha take their turn thus Ashveil trigger his FUA more often and it cycles back to how Ashveil and Mortenax Blade work together … Sorry that was super long winded. I hope this helps and that I didn’t just make it more confusing. Honestly at the end of the day it also depends on how much they Buff and/or Nerf him too.
Pretty sure he’s a-part of the rumoured all male team along with M.Blade and Ashveil. The rumours did say that he would be solo Elation in said team
