I think Cyrene won’t replace Tribbie but could be a good alternative for Castorice team
– bc surely Cryene will have the ability to deploy Territory
“Territory effects are unique in the battle. While it exists, other abilities with Territory effects cannot be used”
– one of her buffing capabillities is energy regen which is useless for Castorice
so i think Cyrene wasn’t originally designed for Castorice team, more like the Evernight hypercarry team.

I don’t know whether I should get Evernight or wait for Cyrene. My current team is Castorice(E0S1), Tribbie(E1S1), Hyacine(E1S1), flex unit (I never bothered to build RMC since I need her for my Superbreak FF team). I really don’t want to bench Tribbie since she’s my favorite character design in the entire game. Tribbie wouldn’t be much use on my FF team obviously.
So Evernight or Cyrene… which one is preferable? I suppose we won’t know for certain until Cyrene’s kit drops, but if she’s more of a generalist unit I’ll probably favor Evernight because she seems tailor-made for my current team setup. I really do wish her combat animations were a bit better though… And I’ve heard mumblings that Cyrene is supposedly going to have Castorice/Phainon-tier animations… so then I once again fall into the abyss of indecisiveness. Q_Q I’m in the mood to spend alot on whichever banner I end up going for. My wallet is very itchy since I got such good luck on all my previous Amphoreus rolls. But no matter what, I’m only going to get a single character because I don’t want to kick Tribbie off my Cas team. I genuinely appreciate the fact that Evernight’s passive allows for Tribbie without much of a compromise due to the 5%/15%/40%/50% Crit Damage bonus on her passive. If it was 5%/15%/40%/70% I would definitely feel like the devs were actively discouraging the use of Tribbie over RMC/Cyrene, but 10% is such a minor disparity between 3/4 Remembrance characters.
People are sad about her DPS being nothing compared to Cas’s, but that’s mainly because most showcases rn have RMC over a team wide buffer. RMC is mostly ST and she gives the buff to Cas. As such the DPS difference is that much bigger. However if you give Tribbie instead, the difference lowers by a LOT. March as of rn is around 65% the DPS potential of Cas in the same team without a ST buffer. This is without Cas allowing her Dragon to remain on the field. Sadly due to just how quickly this team can resummon the Dragon there is almost no reason what so ever to hold back the Dragon from exploding and allowing Evernight to gain Cas’s buff, so this will likely not change. But still, Tribbie and Hyacine are ok at DPS too and only amount to about 20% of Cas’s DPS. So Evernight is by no means a slouch at DPS when within a full team buffing side. Once Cyrene comes Evernight will gain a little bit more too due to her own buff per remembrance remaining in tact. As a result she will likely advance to like 70/75% of Cas’s DPS which is pretty decent for a char that buffs.
Finally, someone saying this. Yes, she synergises with castorice, but by no means are they tied together!
